Not yet because I had to resubmit something. But I hope that they'll contact me again on monday.... Hopefully with a CC... 😕 and a interview date 😂😅

Me too. They accepted all my doc within a day after I first submitted and requested for 1 more doc which we submitted the next day. But it has been a week. The waiting game begin again and I don’t think a dec interview is likely as I spoke to someone at nvc last Friday and they said dec interview slots are filled. 😔

It always took them a week to reply to me, that's why I'm hoping for a answer today..

I know that they won't schedule for December anymore which I won't mind. I'll prefer January anyway soo....

But I'll get my medical done next week so that this part is at least taken care of..

I was wondering if we could do the medical first but I thought an interview letter is required to schedule an appointment. What did u use to get an appointment?

My husband only filed taxes in the US because he is a citizen but living with me abroad. Officially i am the only one working so we just submitted his tax transcripts.

Hi! We're in the same situation. My husband lives abroad with me and has for a year but hasn't been able to work in this country. Did you file with a sponsor or not? And were they happy with just the transcripts?

They asked if I have one, I said no, and then gave me a appointment... So I don't know if it varies from country to country or doc to doc... 🤔

But hopefully I have a appointment, regardless of the necessity of a number, by next week before the medical

Guys, question to those who is at NVC stage and submitting documents.

Is there any form required my "live" signature as beneficiary?

Attorney said (from my husband's words) I'll need to sign some papers and then send it to  NVC.

Just wonder what it can be.

For CR1 I know for sure the beneficiary don’t have to sign anything.  The petitioner can submit everything to the NVC, but of course that would require the beneficiary to send his/her mirage certificate, birth certificate, visa size photos, and in some instances the police clearance to the petitioner as it will be needed. By the way, I submitted all my documents about a week ago November 19, 2018. I did have someone that prepared my package with the documents, he knows what he’s doing since he  had done it many times before for others with success. And the attorney might be telling your husband about the DS-260 form which the petitioner can complete online for the beneficiary and when the beneficiary goes for the interview then the officer make them sign electronically by finger print. In most cases the petitioner will complete that form on the beneficiary behalf since the beneficiary might lack access to a computer or Internet which is absolutely fine. Hope this help answer your question of concern a little.

Thank you for the respond!

I think I should ask attorney.

DS-260 form requires E-signature, Affidavit of support requires only sponsor's signature

Yes, for the DS-260 form they will ask you to confirm that everything on current to your knowledge and take your finger prints. That’s what I was told. However, I don’t know of anything that that need to be signed by beneficiary. Don’t think there is anything. But you can play it safe and ask your attorney, I think he will say the same to you.

From what I understand, the NVC does not require photos of the beneficiary. They are to be brought to the interview.

That is true, however you can still be a step ahead and send the photo ahead of time with all the stuff to NVC if you want. This is the way the person that’s prepared my papers had always done it. Now of course the beneficiary when going for the interview will still walk with two more pics but since the consulate will already have the pic because NVC send everything over to them they won’t even need it again but just walk with two extra pic to be safe. Maybe when you go take pic to do your medical you take out two more visa size photo to walk with at your interview even tho you send two to the NVC. Now by sending the photo ahead this makes it a lot easier for the officer, he/she have everything right in front of them before they even get to you to interview you. It’s just more convenient for them.
