NVC send me the message telling me to upload passport in this way

This document is not in the right-side up position. Please replace this with a scan which displays the words horizontally on the screen.

what does this mean? so confusing

hi all, quick question. did anyone use a household member to co-sponsor? my sister is going to be co-sponsoring with me as I am currently unemployed. what types of proof of relationship did you guys use? She is writing a letter as our proof of relationship and signing it, is there anything specific she needs to include in the language?

Hi All,

I hope someone who has completed the form DS-260 can help me with some clarifications.

There is a question on DS-260 form that ask if my husband and child will be immigrating with me. They are both US citizens except me who is the applicant. We currently live outside US and will move to US once my visa is approved. We have no problem showing my husband has evidence to proof domicile too.

So, is it correct to answer "No" since they are both US citizen and not really "immigrating" but will be returning to US?

Thanks a lot!

I would put "no" because they're not technically immigrating. I'm in a somewhat similar situation, and that's what I put :)

Hello! I'm currently getting the documents together for the online visa application and I have a question. One of the tabs for uploads (under the section that says "Civil Documents" and has tabs for the passport biographic page, photographs, birth certificate, marriage certificate and police certificate) says "photographs" and I can't find any specific instructions as to what kind of photographs. The state department website doesn't seem to have been updated and it still says to send two identical 2x2 photos in the mail along with other documents, which obviously isn't the case anymore since everything is submitted online. And wouldn't it not make sense to submit two identical files online, since one file can be downloaded/printed multiple times?

Thanks in advance for your help!!
