I finally got a text message today that a request for initial evidence was mailed. So now we wait. Hopefully it’s something simple that I can respond to right away. It’s been 8 long months since NOA1. I wonder how long now!

I can't believe I still haven't received my approval. What is going on with Potomac? My PD is 2/20. Is anyone else still waiting for the approval from Potomac from February? It's been 8 months.

Ours is 2/26 at Potomac and we just got notice that they mailed request for evidence. They don’t say whT it is so we wait again to receive it.

I believe you would want to have your permanent address (and the address where you intend to live with your husband in US) on all documentation. If you are simply visiting your husband temporarily, you wouldn't want mail to be sent there.

I am curious to know if anyone on here has had their case completed at NVC. We've submitted everything and paid our fees...just waiting anxiously for confirmation...anyone had their case complete? If so, how long did it take? thanks.

You might want to ask in this forum :)

It's for people at the NVC stage.

Out of interest, how long did it take you to get a case number and IIN after your i130 approval?

Did you receive the notice in the mail with what additional information they are requesting? I have 2 cases, one for my husband and one for my step son. I am starting to wonder if that is why my case is taking so long. Or did they lose my I-130. The receipt numbers are the same except the last number but they are only a number a part. Any thoughts?

Hello All,

I've been out of the country since August and I just got back, I kept checking both websites, the old and the new one and the status hasn't changed, I also kept receiving a weekly email stating that they're still working on my petition and there are no updates at the moment.

However, while going through my mail I found an approval notice! My case apparently has been approved since 09/19/2018!

Potomac center

PD 02/28/2018

NOA2 19/19/2018

I called USCIS today and they said they haven't sent the file to the NVC yet

Good luck to all!

I haven’t received it yet. I was notified via text message that it was mailed. Have you signed up for text and email notification?

Hello guys.

I finally just got some great news.

I received an email from NVC stating Invoice Number and Case Number.

I didn't know until now that we were even approved. Online it still says "case was received".

I'm so relieved right now!!!

Everybody else who's still waiting, hang in there, you'll be up next!
