Yes it did. Before I received this E-mail I tried calling several times, but I never got a hold of somebody at the NVC. That's why I was happy that this morning I noticed an E-mail from the NVC. Now I can start paying the fees for the NVC process.

NOA2: Approved 5th September 

VJ Estimate: was up to 4th October

The website said 23/2 for me so hopefully you're just a couple days to go!

 

I got an email (because I set up on the new site for email notifications) that said something had change on my case etc I signed in and it said approved! The old site still says Case Received and my husband is working in another state this week so I don't know if the letter has arrived there yet!

Wow that’s so quick! If it got sent on the 9th NVC probably received it around the 16th and that means only 3 weeks for the case number. Exciting!!

I'm also wondering if there is a group for Whatsapp. But if there is not we could also create a new Whatsapp group for the NVC stage if you all like the idea?

~10 days for USCIS to send application to NVC.

~ 1 week for NVC to receive it.

~3 weeks for NVC issue case number.

~5 weeks for them to process documents and payments sent in.

~2 months until interview.

 

What do you all think?

I think 3 weeks for the case number is pretty optimistic but the rest looks realistic to me.
