Good Day All,

I am new to this forum!

My wife Filed our I-130 in Feb 2018, we have our Noa1 stating that the case was received on March 15th. However i am not sure which NVC my case is heading to! based on other comments i have read here most people already know theirs. May i ask where did you folks find out which NVC one's case might be? from Noa1 or Noa2?

Many Thanks in advance.

You will get that information with your NOA2. Your NOA1 shows the USCIS office it was sent to for processing.

Great Thanks for answering, so are I-130s processed at different sites across the US? like there are different NVC sites? or are they all either accepted or declined at same place then distributed to e.g Potomac, Nebraska etc. if successful?

Thank you once again?

the NVC stage is after I-130 is approved. I-130s are processed at USCIS service centers i.e potomac. It will say what service you are at on your noa1

Hello all,

My case was received by USCIS in early Feb 2018 and I received the approval notice about 10 days ago. The approval notice date is 4/12 but I checked with NVC and they told me that they haven't received the case yet. Even USCIS website shows that my case was received only. I find it quite strange given the fact that my petition was approved quite quickly.

Wow your petition was approved incredibly fast! Did you expedite? What service centre was your petition at? It can take 6-8 weeks for NVC to receive your petition and generate your number, based on what I’ve read. Once you receive your NOA 2 in the mail it should give you instructions and a time frame to hear from NVC

Congratulations on your fast approval!

Yeah, everyone including me was surprised with the incredible speed with which my petition got approved. I did not expedite my case. Can you really expedite your case? I haven't heard of any such provision. Anyway, my service center was Texas. My NOA2 says it may take upto 1 month to hear anything from NVC. I am really impatient now........(I know..my case got approved very quickly from USCIS and now I am expectating to sail through NVC too very quickly.:D)
