On June 28 they send your case to Nvc. It might take upto 2 weeks to get there. You need to call NVC to find out whenever they received your file. They won't contact you or send you any letter now. Once Nvc received your file It might take upto 8 weeks to assign case number. They will email you once your case number ready.

I am so totally confused on how this really works. I filed in Feb. and have Texas all long I was thinking maybe August/September.  But they you see some like the almost the same week as me got approvals in June/July.  Anyone really know when the case is received then what do they go just first come or they go by state/country or anything like that?  Just getting impatient

Also anyone know from when you get an approval to the interview timeframe?

Hey everyone! Not sure if I'm considered a January or Feb. filer, but our case was approved yesterday (8/1)!!!

I sent the petition on 1/29 and according to the new website, they received our case on 2/3. VJ's predictions were absolutely spot-on as they had predicted between August 1-9 for our case.

Good luck and best wishes to all!
