I just finished my interview and got stuck with: A decision cannot yet be made about your application. Any experience on this in the Portland OR Office????

anything will be helpful. Thanks

Did they give any reason? Do you have divorces? Criminal history? Issue with staying illegally in USA in the past? Please share those info so that it helps understanding your case.

I had my interview in Portland with S. Spicer. No issues that I know of with my file or case. No divorce, been a green card holder for 10 years and married for 17 living in the USA for 10 years. Canadian Citizen. No record or problems with the police.  I asked for a reason or if this was normal and she said it just happens. I work full time and only take short trips to canada once a year for 5 - 7 days. No stamps in any passport coming and going from Canada. I also went one a 4 day cruise to Mexico last year. So I have no idea why I was told no decision can be made in your case.

I never had problems with anything, no police, arrest, no gaps on working history and I’m self employed with my own company. I answered everything right but she didn’t like my face I guess.

Yes same with me I’ve been outside of US for 12 days in 6 yrs. no criminal records of any kind. It’s so frustrating

They didn’t say anything after I asked her why, just said: wait for our decision on the mail, could take 6 to 8 weeks and you can ask again after 120days without a response using info pass system. So that’s it.

Do you remember who your IO was in Portland?

It should be written on the decision letter, if you can’t remember the name of the interviewer.

That's odd. I am sure they will let you know their decision.
