My fiancée (the petitioner) recently moved out to a new place, and she needs to update her address on the USCIS website. However, she is having some concerns that it will slow down our processing time. Is that possible?

Nope. They just update the address in the computer system so any future mail will automatically be addressed to the new location. I'm moving next week but plan to notify USCIS a few days in advance of my actual move in date. Not planning on hearing anything until early Sept, though. Just trying to stay a step ahead of things.

Am I right that only one person from February has gotten an approval??? (On here that is.) Is that normal one week into the month?

I think you are correct.  I was thinking about it today, and I seem to remember that @x_driven_x said in previous threads that the past few months have really gotten going around the 8th of the month.  Day of the week might also play into it.

You can find USCIS expedite criteria here: https://www.uscis.gov/forms/expedite-criteria

How to do it: follow the instructions on their website. Call USCIS and request an expedite, they will guide you from there.

It is very rare that expedites are being granted, but sometimes it works. However, you need to be able to provide them with the proper documentation. Type in "expedite" in the searchbox on the VJ start page and you can find more information.

The 2 that filed in Feb and were approved in April are the two expedited ones.

You, Greenbaum , touched me deeply today. Instead of coming in to check the website every day, worry , be sad that it's taking forever, even make my fiancé miserable  sometimes with my emotional breakdowns, I decided to take on a hobby I always wanted to learn! I bought a guitar today  . You truly touched me deeply and I took your words literally, to go about my day like everyone else , and not let the slow process of the visa process dictate how I feel in this present moment. I've been reading the book "how to stop worrying and start living" by author Dale Carnegie, and in one of his chapters he mentions that keeping active and truly investing yourself in healthy activities can keep your mind of of worry and heartache! So you and Dale Carnegie are officially my heroes. May the good Universe bless you and grant you with whatever your heart desires. 🌼🙏

Many years ago I read those same writings from Dale Carnegie. He was such an inspirational person. I wish more people would take the time to read his writings. He was the author of How to Win Friends and Influence People (1936), a bestseller that remains popular today. He also wrote How to Stop Worrying and Start Living (1948),

Thank you for sharing your experience and good luck on learning the guitar. Always wanted to learn but never made the commitment.

Remember, if you wake up today and see the beauty that surrounds you, you have God to thank for another day in your life, so go out and make it a good one. You will smile more if you put a smile on someone else's face.

This is a good site to get an idea in laymen's terms how to execute and expedite your case.
