Yes , it is been SOO so hard. I haven't seen my fiance since January !! I feel like this whole period has been a limbo where we cannot get on with our lives until he finally gets the K1 !! It is our 166 day today, I hope and pray Feb starts soon.

Sigh . One huge LIMBO it has been , accurately said!!. ✔ Yes , I tell you if anyone knows how to pray and hope, it's K1 FILERS 😂

I put on my story the truth that we met on Tinder and after that we met in person and it was love at first sight. He came to my country 3 years I've been in USA 3 times. I don't think meeting online can be a problem if you have proofs to show your relationship is real. Right? Made me stressed reading that can be a problem that 😕

We met on Tinder too!!!

Im totally with you on having that positive perspective!

I used to over analyze what we sent in and think about what could possibly result in an RFE but it really doesn’t do us any good!

Either way if you get an RFE you just submit whatever they request and move on! We are so close to getting an update we should all be excited!!! Now stressed :)

Hoping we all hear something next month!!!!

We also met on tinder when i was on vacation in USA... we wrote a "HOW WE FIRST MET" and all that...we also searched here in a forum where says tinder is not an IMB and that's the reason why we didn't add ToS in our Initial packet! :D that...

There is an old website that was used for a number of years and now they are transitioning over to a new website. Seems it is becoming more reliable each day and the old is sometimes not working. I suggest you forget you ever heard about the old website and just follow your case here:  https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov

Each country is a little different. I made a binder for my fiance to bring to the interview. It has a copy of our entire application, including original proof of relationship and affidavit of support. I am also sending him a copy of my birth certificate as well as his . I also included pictures, airline tickets from our visits, and screen shots of our conversations since we applied. I know for sure he needs his original birth certificate, his medical exam results still sealed, and a police certificate stating he has no criminal record. You should check your specific county's requirements, as well as read the reviews for people's k1 interview experiences here on VJ. It helps to know what the process is and what type of questions they asked.

I feel the same. The limbo is horrible. So is the pain of missing him. Today was his birthday. And we are apart. It’s just painful. I know it’s not a long time in the scheme of things. He reminds me of this daily. He is forever an optimist. I am sad every day. And then when we get to see each other it’s so great but I’m already sad on day one knowing he is leaving again.  We are so lucky to have seen each other so much. Reading some of these posts I see how lucky we are. We will see each other when he comes for about two weeks a month from today. But every day, the weekends...like you I try to stay busy. I work a ton, I have two teenagers who definitely keep me busy lol, I see friends, I’ve been going to every gym class I can lol. But it’s not the same. It’s just no way to live and I also have these moments of wondering what the **** I’m doing! Why am I doing this!?  And then we FaceTime for hours and I remember. Ugh this is hard!! But I hope we hear something soon!

The dates that matter are the ones on your NOA1: The receipt date, moreso by USCIS, and notice date, for purposes of the VJ timeline.  In my case, the "new site" date corresponds with the notice date and the "old site" date corresponds with the receipt date. The "new site/old site" date reporting is just bandwagoning.

There isn't much out there for Tanzania but here is the Embassy reviews http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=Tanzania

Here are others who are applying from T http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?op6=All&op7=Tanzania&dfile=No&op1=&op2=&op3=&op4=1&op5=5%2C6%2C8%2C10%2C11%2C13%2C14%2C15%2C16%2C17%2C18%2C20%2C21%2C22%2C25%2C26%2C27%2C28&cfl=0

I don't have a P3 letter but if I could ask that you send a copy once you receive one I then can use it for others who come behind you. Thank you

I'm on day 177 today (from original reciept date ).. it looks people have been getting granted between day 182 to 193 (in general, some more , some less) so according to this general analysis, my fiancé and I are left with 5 days to 16 days go approval. This is getting wonderfully scary. And I'm ready for it.✔😭😰

Here is reality for your Embassy http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?op6=All&op7=South when others who have applied and what they are experiencing.

Hi fellow February filers! Since approvals seem to be coming in very slow still for January filers, it made my day today to see my timeline got bumped up by one day from Aug 27 to Aug 26. Not that it makes a big difference to anyone who is not in the K1 process - but any filer knows how happy it makes you to see just the tiniest movement, right? 😄

Did anyone elses timeline change?

Hope you all have a great day!
