Hey everyone. Just sharing some info if you're a K-1 filer (especially if you're from Cuba, Guyana, or Columbia). We got granted our K-1 visa as Cuba filers this January and created a blog documenting the WHOLE process with some free docs on:

1. How to file your K-1 petition

2. How to prepare for your K-1 visa interview in Columbia & Guyana

3. How to file your AOS documents after you marry

We legit just created the blog out of frustration  since in the middle of our K-1 process because the U.S. government CLOSED DOWN the U.S. Embassy Havana for ALL visa processing. Like....yeah..what timing. You can read more on that here.

Anyways, good luck and I hope this helps someone! Hang in there. Patience is the name of the game. You CAN do this. You're not alone here. :)

The old site doesn't appear to be getting updates anymore. For a while there were some cases that were getting updated in one or the other or both, but now pretty much anyone that gets updates on the web at all only gets them on the new site.

Tbh there is no differance. Months ago there use to be scans done on the old site. Now USCIS does not even up date the old site. They only been using new site for last couple weeks.

Also, new site requires u to sign in each time to see info and must use secondary verification.
