I was freaking out about this cos I was worried I was gonna miss important mail relating to the visa application, I actually started a new topic on here to ask how i update my address (as the beneficiary) and the response I got was that the petitioner can update their address with USCIC if it changes, but if the beneficiary has an address change all you can do is try and update that at NVC stage - but apparently this a bit hit and miss - but I got assured even if the beneficiary misses any mail after NOA2 you will be able to find out what you need to do next (what documents are needed for the medical, etc etc) online anyways so it's not too much of an issue - and then when it comes to getting the actual visa i believe you can instruct it to be delivered at a certain address. Correct me if I'm wrong anybody but that's what my understanding of it is after querying it on here :)

I’m a bit lost here, so did you end up changing your address anyway as the beneficiary? Or did you just leave it as it was until the NVC stage?

I am the beneficiary and iv I’ve just moved from Australia to Africa until I get married. And the address I had put them was the Australian one.

For all the hosting they do for other people and their stuff, you'd think they could spare a few servers for themself! :D

If you haven't yet, when you log in, go to My Account, and select "Add a paper-filed case" to add your case.

Then you can go to https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant to see your case status.

You're welcome.

Fortunately, Anastasia's English (quite good) is much better than my Russian :D (basically nonexistent)...

But yeah, it asks every time (since we're a long way from action on May cases, I don't check very often). The "one-time" refers to how often any given password can be used, not how often you'll be asked for it.

Can you download the app for USCIS because then just add your case and then you just click on the app any time you don’t need to keep putting in a password

I believe -- though I could easily be wrong -- that every case tracker app currently available uses the same data source as the old web site.

The site is nice because many of us were worried about very small typo error that people thought they could get a RFE for but on the app under processing times if you scroll all the way down you can fix any small typo errors on your case and if they have any small issue when it comes to reviewing your case now they can ask you to correct it in the same context so it’s a nice resource

what app exactly do you use?

I went to google play and there are few case tracking apps, I was surprised with that fact and it looks not trustable

if there was one and only uscis app it would look more real that it really tracks cases properly
