I can't believe it's almost our turn! I guess my SO doesn't even realize that it's coming soon, and every time I ask him to gather financial documents for the next step, he's like will do but seems like he's not doing it lol. Hopefully everyone here on this thread will get approved next month!

(oh and I like FABruaries haha. Go Fabs!)

Ha, mine is just the same! Here I am with lists of which documents I will need when and guides on the next steps - meanwhile it took me 6 weeks until he finally remembered to sign up for USPS Informed Delivery -_-.

For informed delivery is it for just uscis or is it all ur mail? I'd hate to see a scanned image of every single piece of mail I receive.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

It is all your mail. He lives on a military base and has to drive to check his mailbox, so for him it makes sense. On the other hand, with USCIS sending not updating like they used to and sending out silent NOAs, I would prefer deleting the scans I don't need, but finding out about that one letter I am so waiting for right away.

Based on the Jan thread, I can't tell if they've even started the Jan cases. People on the thread who got approved actually received NOA1 in late Dec (but the new website says NOA1 date is in Jan). If they haven't started Jan yet, I assume they slowed down a process a bit as it's almost mid July...??

It's different for each Embassy. But since I can't tell your Embassy is because your profile is not complete it's hard to answer that question.  Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

They have started January as there have been a couple non-expedited approvals with case numbers in the January range. These scans go by case number, which are set in order by receipt date. That being said, January approvals will only trickle in at first for a week or two before they become more steady as has been the trend in previous months. http://www.harveysollano.com/uscis/uscisscansummary.aspx
