U can check around urself and get quotes. But tbh. It’s a fair price. Shitty thing is it takes 3 to 5 weeks. Also, they ship door to door. Not door to port. Which a lot do.

She he wants to bring a Dutch dresser, table her garandpa made, old sewing machine, records, books, plus other odds and ends...

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I do think that taking as much on the flight and paying for extra bags when visiting  (you /him / friends / cousins / workmates) is a great way to do smaller and lighter items. It does seem to get a little pricey after that!

Thanks,  my issue is books believe it or not you don't get many to 23kg and my fiancé doesn't think I should get rid of many of mine if any, got it down to about 170 now. the rest of my things I think I could probably do in 6 suitcases max. going to streamline my clothes like crazy and hire a skip before I move!!

Biggest is the 1 to 2 weeks it’s held at port for inspection. Money anit the issue. Have to do what’s best to make her as comfy as possible. Somethings she will have her sister bring when she visits and we just give her the money for the extra bag fee.

Good evening fellow February filers! (We should name us FABruaries...)

Just wanted to wish you all a happy week! I’ve been really busy at work now that everyone is realizing sh@#t is about to get real and I’ll be leaving soon. And now that they are almost working on January, I’m realizing myself that we will soon all be busy with new and more paperwork and leaving our old lives. Right now it still seems like August is an eternity away, but it will be here within the blink of an eye. I can’t wait for all of us to scream “OH MY GOD YESSSSS, WE’RE APPROVED!!!!

I can't believe it's almost our turn! I guess my SO doesn't even realize that it's coming soon, and every time I ask him to gather financial documents for the next step, he's like will do but seems like he's not doing it lol. Hopefully everyone here on this thread will get approved next month!

(oh and I like FABruaries haha. Go Fabs!)
