Received my NOA1 on Feb. 8th. I am starting to go crazy waiting :( I haven't seen my fiancé since early April but I am visiting him at the end July. I keep checking this website every night for some hope. I am day dreaming on how exciting it would be receive the news of the NOA2 while we are together. A girl can dream

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Wow, in 2016 it was only 2.9 months?? It's funny how they have slowed down so much in 2 years...

It sucks that the scan doesn't work anymore. I'm checking Jan thread everyday to see if there are any movements. They should start doing the Jan cases soon... then hopefully in a month it'll be our turn! Happy July 4th everyone.

There is a 12/23 approved. Post in December thread. But, since scans no longer work seems that no one is on forums. It’s almost as if that was the only reason they were here.

With this said said be prepared for more crying as people have no clue at all..😂😂😂😂

Not much to , whine and stamp their feet about because they can't see their "no movements" . Now those who are serious and are contributing are the ones who are still here. Keep your patience, you are almost there.

I'm not worried tbh. It happens when it happens. Can't make them work faster. No point in complaining about it. It gunnna change a thing. Yet some will still do it. It's human nature.

I'm actually glad we have a safe space like this to moan and complain about our journey. As others have said, no one fully appreciates what it is like unless they have been through it themselves and the constant questions about if we have heard anything are hard when we don't have a positive answer. Complaining about the situation won't get us any further forward but it's good to have the support of others in the same position.

I have found it really hard this week. Like everyone else we have good days and bad. I am desperate for January NOA2's to start coming through but then know that it still isn't our month.

We will all get there in the end and we are most of the way through the wait. Looking back it has gone quite quickly but looking forward it can't come soon enough.

In short, yes-
A K1 can be expedited. It is RARE though
Usually the cases we see primarily deal with military deployment

Hi all,

Was going to see my fiance tonight--flight was at 10pm. Got a call about my son this afternoon that made me have to cancel my flight. Obviously don't need to go into details but need to be here for my son. All of that aside, I am so heartbroken. I was looking forward to this trip for so long. His family had this big party planned as it would have been the first time I would meet most of them. His father is very ill so maybe the only time I would meet him. I know that's just life and I will survive but not sure anyone can understand how painful this is except for others waiting months to see someone they love. No idea when we will see each other again. Maybe September or October but not sure. I had everything planned--my bag packed and in my car, presents for his family, everything. It's times like this when this whole process just seems insane and I question everything. There are just so many unknowns and everything is SO difficult. I just read through a bunch of posts and it seems everyone is feeling the same way...maybe it's just that time in the process when the waiting gets hard. I was so looking forward to this and I'm just so crushed.

Thanks for listening.

Sorry to hear about ur son first and foremost. Hope everything is ok with him..

its rough going so long not seeing ur partner. Just keep in mind the end is closer. Every day that passes is one day less we all have to wait.

As for traveling later. I wouldn’t go any later then September. By then u should hopefully be scheduling medical and interview. Shortly after u will be together.

If ur the Petitioner then traveling won’t be a issue. And hopefully can fly back together..

best wishes

Slim possibility scans are still working. But, seems they maybe only updating old site weekly in place of daily.52E46029-18DF-482E-92CD-B15FBD65B210.thumb.png.488664b3d53ea9b923ef3b941396eba3.png
