Hi Everyone!!

I am February filer, so still got some waiting to do.

With that being said, I want to start preparing for he next step of the process...THE INTERVIEW.

Do you guys recommend any pages/guidelines that explain all I need to provide my fiance, all my fiance needs to be ready for the interview, etc.

I'll highly appreciate it!

Thanks! && Good luck to all December and January filers who are still waiting.

After NOA2, things can differ greatly from country to country. You can take a look at the embassy website and prepare according to what they ask for. I know at least in the case of Russia, the consulate has been friendly and helpful with questions that my fiancee has called them about that aren't specifically covered by their website.

Hello!

I was just curious, I keep reading about how there is a new USCIS vs an old one and how you can check case status on both?

Is https://my.uscis.gov/ the new one? If so I don't see any way to check case status there.

egov.uscis.gov is the website I have always been using.

Thanks for any info !

Good Morning Feb fillers!  Another month closer, yet still so far away.  I'm trying to be patient & positive as I'm sure most are

Just got back from visiting my fiance'.  But to think I will have to wait another 5-7 months before I see her again is unbearable.  It's like....it was hurting so much to not see her but now that I've visited her its almost better to not have gone cause now I miss her so much more!  Anyways, I'm just venting!  Fingers crossed for Nov, Dec & Jan to process quickly so ours would start sooner.

I visited my fiancé in May and I felt the same way. When we said goodbye at the airport and I was crying, he said „look at it this way: this is the last time that we have to do this. Next time you won‘t be leaving.“. So that’s what I think about when the wait kills me - it feels way better and easier than the awful pain of separation from your loved one. I still miss him every day and it hurts, but at least here I can keep myself busy, make plans, get my paperwork ready etc. Hang in there, we are almost there!

Yeah, I totally feel the same way. It's a blessing and a curse to be able to contrast how great is is to be together and how awful it feels to be separated. Hopefully that makes all our couples stronger in the long run.

I went for a couple weeks at the beginning of May and told my fiancee something similar. The next time I go to see her, we'll be going home together and enjoying that painful 12 hour flight side by side. :D

Hey everyone, hope you guys are having an awesome Friday/Saturday :) It's Saturday here and I'm kinda bored... so just out of curiosity but where are your POE? Mine's LAX, and will be living in LA. I've lived in Seattle for a while but never lived in LA so I'm a bit anxious about how my life goes there...

LA as well. :) Quickest route back home is Moscow > LA > SLC. I hope we will be allowed to use the mobile passport line and cut the huge lines! LAX is one of my least favorite airports I've been to, but also the one I go to most often. <_< Personally, I prefer Seattle to LA. The scenery is much better and so is the congestion. :D
