I am so sorry for not being a native English speaker. And yes I thought it was pretty clear.

Do not have a wedding even if it is unofficial one without the visa. This may cause to denial.

Here a better English version. just because I said It was pretty clear does not mean I have an attitude. But I am learning quickly that some people cannot understand not everyone have to have proper and perfect English, and do not have flexibility of understanding.

you asked me to "clarify", and the statement itself was clear.

If you asked me can you explain more. I wouldn't say it was pretty clear.

Again it was not clear to me!! I asked for clarification as I did not understand what you meant. When you say "it was pretty clear" you are essentially saying the other person is stupid and or lacking intellect to a degree. I have no issue with you not speaking English as a first language, I simply did not comprehend.

I by no means used if in order to say someone is stupid or lacking intelligence, taking it like that is a personal choice. Just like you made me feel like I had to apologize for not speaking a language properly or perfectly.

also if you read again what you quoted you would see while replying the post itself I have already read it again and corrected myself before you answered, Because I did realize it might not have been clear while answering.

it is written out there, nobody can read what anybody is meaning to write there, assuming the worst is a given but nobody actually cares enough to attack anybody here.

Yes it is hard and some days are brutal. I also try and stay happy and pretend all is well but he sees right through me. I've seen friends who have filed last year and the year before that had to wait six months start to finish so I was also believing we would get an approval quickly. I am confident it will go quicker than some others so let's keep the hope alive. All of this will be a distant memory soon. Don't get depressed, find a project to focus on and put your energy there.

This is the exact thought i start each day with that it will be a distant memory soon but as the day goes by it gets really tough. Im an artist i dont even feel like painting or doing nothing. I sleep around 18 hours a day so that times goes by quick but its not helping out. Reaaaalllllllllyyyyyy tough. Thanks for motivating though

Thats what he told me before filing that huni fiance visa will be quick so lets go for this one instead. Little did i know it gonna take nearly 10 months from.start  to finish. When i see jan dec groups i lose all the hope when they talk bout getting there response in july which makes us aug/sep. :(

and I also think of all the people who haven’t updated their timelines and people out there who have no idea this forum even exists! so their might be alot better hope for us then we think, we just all need to have faith and remain patient no matter how hard it is 😩😒

Had no clue about this page either until a week ago. I guess after 3 months it start playing with ones mind badly. I saw my fiance in jan its been 5 months and lets say 4-5 months more. That drives me crazy. Good to see other people coping up aswell. I dont feel the only sufferer

Everyone one is different, but sometimes thought exercises can help. Which is worse: to wait to see the love of your life again, or to be alone without them ever again? I have friends and family that have served tours of duty in the military and have had to spend extended amounts of time apart, longer than what most of us will likely experience. I figure if they can do it, then so can I. I'm happy that once we are approved and together, I don't have to worry about being sent away. I would rather wait as long as is needed to be with my forever love than to never see her and hold her again, and I tell her every day. I will not give up on her, and I will do whatever it takes for us to be together.

I got it with noa1.

Is it true that I would need to bring police certificate from all the countries I've lived in? I lived in the states for 3 years 7 years ago, and now I'm in my home country Philippines, and my fiance applied me K1 visa. Do I need to get police certificate from the states too?

No you don’t need one from US. But yes from all other countries you lived longer than 6 months. And any country if you have criminal records.

From 6 years im regular in gyming . I dont feel like doing that anymore..well i guess both  the situations are difficult which you mentioned above. Good on your part you are able to stay strong bless you. I think everybody is not the same people are different with there strengths and weaknesses. If only everyone was as strong and mature things would be real easy for all. Though trying to keep my calm what else can i do.

I last saw my fiance in January and I’ve decided I can’t wait anymore so I bought a flight to go to the dominican republic next month for 5 days only paid $355 for the flight so at least I have something to look forward too, might as well gather more evidence while i wait!

I asked him to come over or meet mid way he has utilised most of his vacations for this year. No option for us sadly

My fiancee and I reached our "Day 100" milestone yesterday!

We had a little celebration on Skype to mark the occasion, with toasts and our beverages of choice. It was great - I encourage everyone going through this process to find reasons to celebrate and remind yourselves why you are going through this.

I am leaving to see her again in mid-July & I can't wait, likely for our last visit together before she receives her visa (knocking on wood).

We also agreed that the Harry/Meghan royal wedding happening exactly on the 100th Day of our petition process was a great sign as they are from different countries, too. (Though it made me wonder how long Meghan had to wait to get her fiancee visa to the UK B-))

It's good to visit if you have the ability to do so! I just came back last week from another visit since I was switching jobs and wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to leave without asking permission. :P It helps to break up the wait a little bit. Just wish everyone could also have that opportunity.
