I think if they stay at this speed some may have it in July that would be wonderful

That would be amazing, but also not because I need to sell my house before I move and nobody has made me the offer I need!

I can imagine getting NOA2 early and being like, great I can't even move cos of my darn house! :D

NOA1: February 13th

NOA2: September 4th

NVC case # assigned: September 21st

Hey guys!

My fiance's friend mentioned something to him about US immigration changing work visa marriage rules(?) Not sure what he's referring to...but thought I'd see if anyone's heard anything about this. I couldn't find anything online relating to our situation though (Only read about H1B changes).

I'm going to call my fiance later though, so I'll let you guys know!

Hey Everyone,

So happy to have found a place where I can chat/hear from people going through the same thing. It's encouraging to read through the thread up until now and a good reminder to stay patient.

We filed in February and got our receipt on Feb 28th, currently waiting in the NOA2 stage (I think!)

Good luck to everyone!! Looking forward to our discussions and updates!! xx

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

If ur gong by vj estimated time line it uses info put in by members on there noa2 received dates. It changes for the good or bad depending how long it’s taken for each person.

That why it’s important for everyone to update there timelines so vj can keep a accurate guesstimation on time frames. 😂😂

If you fill out your timeline on here, it will give you an estimated date for the NOA2. It's based on everyone else inputting their data and it's a rough estimate, so never use it to make plans. BUT for some reason I find checking it oddly comforting.

If the processing doesn't take time, no need to rush (applying now). Just relax and apply after NOA2.
