Hello to everyone! Just saw this thread. I remembered when we started our journey same month last year and now we’re together and happily married. I’m currently waiting for my gc now. Good luck to everyone! Just a reminder enjoy your time with your family and friends while waiting for your approvals, you’ll never know you wake up one day with your noa2 in the mail.^_^

I remember you dropping in on the Marchies! (That was my first group, long story :D.) Glad to hear everything went well for your family!

Long story short: Our application was approved and we got NOA2 in early to mid Aug sometime. Seems my fiancee had two personalities and I only saw the really good one until she started having problems with the DS 160. Then some things happened and I started talking to her former best friend that I was forbidden from speaking with after we were engaged and found out why when talking with her. The only reason I had anything to do with her best friend is she helped me get my ex's ring size and organize some surprises surrounding my visit to Ukraine. There was absolutely no funny business and my ex didn't even suspect any. She just wanted to hide the bones in her closet which were lies she was spreading about me to her former best friend, her mom, and other friends of hers. They're no longer best friends or on speaking terms since the whole web of lies unraveled when Inna and I spoke again, like we weren't supposed to. We shared screenshots of conversations we both had with my ex that showed her ugly side, so I luckily dodged bullet.

I’m glad that you’re moved on from her. Atleast you know her before marrying her. So when and where did you meet the new lucky one? Good luck again

She is a former coworker of the wife of one of my best friends. She's wanted to set us up for about two years, but timing never really worked out. We finally were able to start chatting with each other last fall, shortly after I broke up with my ex and she broke up with hers, and things just moved really fast. We already knew a lot about each other from our mutual friend always talking about us to each other. It was really just like meeting a really good old friend I hadn't seen forever and picking up where we'd left off. It's hard to explain, but there's just a different feeling of comfort and attachment with her that wasn't ever there with my ex. Looking back I couldn't truly be myself with my ex, or with many of my exes for that matter, and I can now. I'm glad my friend's wife was so stubborn and persistent with us all these years. She was right!

It looks like this is actually updated much more often too (the previous tool was only updated once a month). Current case inquiry date that's showing today is August 27, 2017.

Little late on posting this. Sent papers out on 02-03-2018. Recieved letter they recieved it. Am using a lawyer with the hopes of not missing anything. Sadly it seems every year that people have delayed the process adds another month to the wait.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

People delayed the process?

they're sending rfe like an old lady giving out candies to the kids for things that have already sent etc. lawyers cause rfes too.

backlog is happening because there is a higher number of cases in some of the other petitions such as n400 and h1bs and rfe numbers are higher because of the new “scrutiny” government likes...

Figured with lawyer we had better chances having all our ducks in a row. They done hundreds if not thousands of them. Guess I'll find out if it was a waste of a extra 2k or not.🤔🤔

Hope it wasn’t.(I sincerely do)

k1 is usually too “simple” for immigration lawyers... I just read I think in august topic, that the lawyer didn’t fill out the beneficiary’s address correctly... lots of problems with lawyers..

but the good news is timelines lines are getting better :) October will hopefully start this week and that’s way faster than the time july or August waited to start!
