I thought I would share a tip for anyone who is obsessively checking the websites.  I bookmarked the home page for the new site after I logged in (with the text message security code) and added it to my favorites:

When I click on the bookmark shortcut, it takes me directly to the home page (above), without requiring that I log in, or request and receive the text message.  I usually just leave the page open in a tab on my browser and refresh it whenever I want to check it, and as of this morning I can confirm that this shows you the live site, because I refreshed the page and my update appeared.  I use Safari 11.0.2

This has saved me a lot of hassle (though at one point I was checking the site like every half hour -- it is addicting, beware!), so I thought I would share in case it can help anyone else.

You have provided much information on the direction to take Greenbaum.  I am heading over there in a month to be with her during the interview.  Just a lucky break my company wants me over there for a temporary assignment.  The stars are aligning.

Great news that you will be with her for the interview. I was with my wife for her interview and it was something I will never forget. And of course she did appreciate that I was there. Here is some important information to get things started for the interview at USEM.

Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get done. To smooth that trail for you I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread are processing through another country they would be hard pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Here is the Packet 3 letter.

https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.

It's really annoying that girls do all the research to tell the boys why it's taking so long. I needed to rant so bad cuz I started to get depressed but I'm relieved that I'm not the only one!

Well Jen, be prepared cause he may not pick his socks up off the floor after removing them.

so I yelled at my SO today... I've been so impatient when it comes to the wait but he doesn't seem to care :( he's like, let's wait till mid Sep to call USCIS and worst case worse we can try CR-1 instead... I was like DUDE seriously? You know nothing! Sorry, rant over. The whole process is killing me....

Be easy on your loved one dear.. he is missing you too. This process is hard on the both of you , your SO too. But maybe he just has a different approach, a calmer one, a more positive one. What has helped me through this process is remembering that I am not  the only one suffering from the limbo, he is too.that my desires are his desires too. That we both want to end the celibacy, that we both want to finally enjoy each other's presence and have a 'normal' Relationship like the rest of the world. Regardless of the process, you are going to spend your lives together, one way or the other, and he has made that clear. Honour your beloved, soon the wait will be over and you will regret having yelled at him. I too,the beneficiary, was very negative at some point, cried and moaned , asked myself why is he not going nuts like I am. But perhaps it's because they know that insanity is trying to control what can't be controlled. Peace be with you angel. 🌸
