Neither site triggered a notification until after I called and spoke to Tier 1 agent.  He told me decision was made but couldn't tell me what it was.  Asked to be transferred to Tier 2 and waited for a call back.  After I hung up I got a text and an email notification.  I'm guessing Tier 1 agent triggered it.  Tier 2 agent just called me and confirmed that it was approved, and was actually approved on August 28.  Have the petitioner call.  If they don't get anywhere with Tier 1, insist on being connected with Tier 2.

I've talked to tier 2 twice and they both gave me the same damn generic answer ( I am the petitioner by the way) your case is still within processing times and they are working on cases from feb 1st call back in a couple weeks you are getting close blah blah blah blah blah! Im getting so discouraged seeing a ton of cases after our date get approved (but I am very happy and excited for everyone that has its a looooooonnnng journey to be on)

I have a quick question - I read that you received RFE, could you please share your experience:

 - Tier 1 said that decision was taken, but he wasn't able to tell what it was RFE or NOA2 so we asked for Tier 2, and he told us that we received RFE and it was mailed on 08/28, but our case status still the same "case was received" on both web sites. Has the status of your case changed after you were told about RFE? If yes, how many days did it took?

I'm worrying that they 1) forgot to send it 2) maybe Tier2 looked at different case and was mistaken (just stupid hope, I know..)

I have not received it in the mail yet to comment any further. Once I do receive the rfe I’ll be sharing what the request is. 

Been open with y’all from the get go. No reason to change that now.😁

honestly y’all i’m starting to get really upset lol. i check multiple times a day, both old and new and nothing. tried calling but the woman told me off because i was the beneficiary lol. my fiancé is going to try and call tomorrow and see what’s going on 😔

I have the same date as well and still waiting. I went ahead and sent a letter to my congressman today. I figured by the it gets to them in the mail and it gets to the right desk I'll either be approved or outside of normal processing range.

okay i was just complaining like 2 hours ago about nothing being done and i just got an email for an RFE. like what the actual fkkkkk right now. I have no idea what it would be. i’m just even more upset than i was 2 hours ago

I called today, spoke with a Tier 2 who told me we were approved yesterday, 8/29! I still haven't received an email or text, and both sites are not showing approval. I think there's either a glitch or something that is holding the updates up on their end... who knows but calling is definitely where everyone seems to be getting some answers.

Another update guys, Jack spoke to a tier 2 this afternoon, got told pretty much the same information that we got from the tier 1 he spoke to apart from she said that our case had been 'looked at' at some point in August but wouldn't say exactly when. So that could mean anything really. Just going to leave it for now and maybe try again in a couple of weeks

Atleast it’s something, I miss my man big time 😢😢😢. And nothing is coming up for us yet. I’m no longer strong as I was I think.

My fiance just called me and I received in the Email that we got an RFE,  I'm so anxious as to what it is?  Can anybody,  calm my nerves and tell me if my fiance can call USCIS and ask what the RFE info they need?
