Just tried calling back. Somehow I got the same tier 1 officer I got earlier who also wasn't helpful. She told me that they cant do anything unless it's outside of normal processing range. I told her what the tier 2 officer told me and all she did was put me on hold for a minute and came back and said the same thing that I was inside the normal processing range and that there was no one else I could speak to about this issue and about the rude behavior of the other officer.

When I spoke to the Tier 1 agent today, I told her that when I called yesterday they told me it was too late to get to Tier 2 and to call back today and request to be transferred.

So I just got off the phone with a Tier 2 Case Officer (since the Tier 1 only told me what was online...that "My Case was Received").  After multiple questions to authenticate (my name - including full middle name, dob, address, fiancees name and dob), she asked my what I was calling for.  I told her I just wanted to know if my case was being worked on, such as in the background check phase.  I wasn't expecting a whole lot from her, but what she did say surprised me.  She told me that my case has been recommended for approval, and just waiting to be signed off by a supervisor.  So I'm hoping that it will happen very soon.  I told her that she sent chills up my spine and that she has made my day very happy 😊  I'm hoping all of you to follow suit quickly and get your approvals.  Thanks to all of you to help me keep my sanity through this.

you've inspired me to call again

Hi All,

My fiancé called on Monday and received the answer that they are working on Jan 30.

After reading the information about silent approvals we decided to call one more

time today and asked to transfer the call to Tier2.

The first representetive said that he could see that some letter was sent yesterday but he wasn’t able to say what it was: rfe or NOA2. He said that we would receive a call from Tier2 in 120 mins.

Tier 2 called back and said that they mailed RFE yesterday.

There are still no updates on the new or old web sites, the case status is still “received”.

We have no idea what they could request and can’t wait to get the rfe letter in mail.

I hope to see any status change on new or old web sites. I hope it was true that they mailed rfe yesterday (and it won’t be a delay with “receiving” it in mail).

Our NOA1 - 02/16 (old web site), 02/20 (new one).

Good luck to everyone who is still waiting for their approval! You will receive it very soon (without any RFEs) 🙏🏻

Well, in answer to your "We have no idea what they could request and can’t wait to get the rfe letter in mail" I'll give you a link to look at a spreadsheet from here on VJ of all the different RFE problems that others have had and their solution. Makes for some good reading and may just jar your memory of what you forgot to do.
