Hate to be a Debbie downer and I am soooo excited and happy for everyone that got approved but I need some words of encouragement or something!

But our NOA1 dates are 2/12/18 and 2/15/18 and still nothing ugh. I called yesterday and the officer said that someone has our petition, I don't know what that even means :P. Its difficult seeing people with NOA1 dates after ours getting approved. I know I know there is no rhyme or reason to USCIS and that I just need to relax and hold tight ours is coming but its sooooooooooo hard! I haven't seen my fiancé since November 2017 :(

I feel the same - I keep seeing dates past mine approved and it brings me so down ! But I called tier 2 and he basically said "I don't see anything wrong with your petition, it is just still in process so you should probably hear something within 2 weeks". So I am just going to try to wait these next two weeks out and not compare my case to everyone else's on here! I haven't seen my fiance since January but I'm sure it won't be too much longer till we are approved. Stay positive !

Juat received this a few minutes ago.

For anyone else who gets this email. Its pretty much just informing u that ur case has been touched and there doing back ground checks still...

At least something..

Keep it heads up. We getting there.....

Out of interest, how do you know it means they have touched it / are doing background checks? Every glimmer of hope is good!

We asked to speak to a tier 2 yesterday. He was worse than the Tier 1 we spoke to. She was actually very helpful. The supposed "Tier 2" Said that nothing has happened with our file, and so long as we put in a letter saying that we intended to marry each other then we should be fine. And to call back in three months time. I obviously discounted everything he had to say as nonsense. lol.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Guys, could you help us?

My fiance talked to Tier 2 agent and he said that the case officer may send rfe but it’s not certain at the moment. Anyone has encountered something similar?

Don't hold ur breath on anything. Until u see it on one of the sites or in ur mail box don't worry.

Many of people have called and gotten similar answer and been approved with nothing else being sent prior.

Jack called uscis this afternoon, spoke to a T1. Just got told our case looks okay and that we're still within processing times and they had no further info for us. I think it was generic advice really. I like to think I've been positive for the most part of this journey so far but not gonna lie I feel really disheartened. It's really taken it's toll on me the last few days and stress is really setting in. I must say though I am glad for the people in this thread that keep all of our spirits up and keep us powering on. Thank you friends

Gah I am right there with you! Except I talked to a tier 2 yesterday and all the guy said was it looks like someone has your case and you guys are still within processing times! I was so hopeful because so many people called and were approved that filled after us. My fiancé and I just got out of a rough patch because of the process and distance. I just want this NOA2 to come soon! Keep your head up our time is coming!!

Just tried calling back. Somehow I got the same tier 1 officer I got earlier who also wasn't helpful. She told me that they cant do anything unless it's outside of normal processing range. I told her what the tier 2 officer told me and all she did was put me on hold for a minute and came back and said the same thing that I was inside the normal processing range and that there was no one else I could speak to about this issue and about the rude behavior of the other officer.
