Hello Everyone!!!

I just received an email from USCIS and we have been approved!! We called today asking for news and they said we were still in the normal processing time and no action had been taken on our case...right.

Anyways..

NOA2 August 28

Every night I have a dream where I wake up and check the website and see that we were approved. But then I really wake up and find we haven't. x(

I have had the same dream every night for two weeks. Usually I get up to go to the bathroom and get back in bed and have that dream. Sometimes in the dream I wake up and realize it was a dream and then check and it’s approved but that’s just part of the dream too. It’s the worst way to start every single day for weeks on end!!

You must be my good luck charm, because after reading your post while walking through the airport, I figured I may as well check the old site for the second time today and BAM! APPROVED!! NOA1 2/20, NOA2 8/28 🙂 

New site hasn't updated yet. Another weird thing, I didn't get an email or text. At this point, it's all good!

I almost wish I hadn’t called. Everyone keeps posting good news from their call (they were magically approved the operator told them!) or they get an approval in the mail. Obviously I don’t need to check the mail since I know we are not approved from that call. It’s just complete and total unknown. I am seriously close to just being done. (Of course I’m not but I am about to break here.) but I will try to only think about this Friday and having my love here!! Can’t wait!

Hang in there. We r all in this together.

I’m not holding my breath with what uscis told me today. Have seen in other months where people been told one thing and they wait  and wait. Call again again a totally different answer every time they call. U got time still. Give it at least another 7 days if not 10. By the. They should have a idea what’s going on with ur case..

I just checked the app tracker that I thought wasn't working anymore because it's from the old site, but today I was surprised to see a message that says they requested an additional evidence. We got an RFE!... New site has no update till now. I'm glad I checked the old site. So guys, old site is back!... God bless us all.

Thanks. I know you’re right. Trying to keep my head up. Not going well lol. I’m happy you got some info today. At least it’s info!! Wishing you lots of luck. 

 

I think I need to sign off of here for awhile because seeing all of this info from everyone else is just too hard, especially people with NOA1s ten days past mine, or reading that it I haven’t heard by now it’s probably an RFE. I’m happy for everyone who is moving on to the next stage, but my heart needs a break on this one. Will be thinking of all of you still waiting and will check back in next week!! Good luck to us all! This site is so helpful!

I’m so happy to see these approvals guys 😊😊 but at the same time it’s making me feel nervous and sad. I’m feb 8 (old site) feb 13 (new site) filer. We have been checking the mail and calling uscis but no luck though. ☹️☹️ If we request to talk to a tier 2 officer, are they capable to check if the case has been touched or if there’s any progress? I Would like to know the difference between tier 1 and 2 please. Thank you!

Yes a tier 2 can see when your case was last touched, and essentially where it is in the process. Usually tier 1 have scripts they stick to. When they answer just ask to be transferred to a tier 2.

@Dawn&Jose we were advised that if we want to talk to a tier 2 officer, we have to call back at 8 am. Is it true?

At the moment probably yes, I have never called this late. And if you call right when they open, like the minute they open, you probably won't have to wait very long to speak to someone. When there is a long wait time they schedule a call back so you are not sitting on hold for hours

Hi all... I got an online update today saying that our case was approved (yay!). I'm confused on our next steps though... who will receive the NOA2 in the mail, me (petitioner) or my fiance? What proactive steps should I be taking? Thanks!!
