i called ‭1 (800) 375-5283‬. Is that the right number? It seemed to me that the only way to talk to a person was if I selected to log an issue with my case (that’s not the right wording, but s

was something like that). I was hesitant to do that so I hung up after the automated recording told me my case was received on Feb 16th (gee, thanks lol).

 

i just texted my fiancé that I think we should just break up and get back together again in mid-September. Of course he will be here in three days so I’m not sure how that would work exactly lol. I’m losing my mind!

Hey everyone! I know I shouldn’t be complaining because I’ve spent every day with my fiancé up to this point in the process but. I’m due in November and I’m getting a little nervous because I leave to finally go back to the states on Thursday. Can someone please instruct me on how to call uscis to get some answers I really need some help my NOA1 is feb 14

Hey guys - I’ve been a silent lurker since before we filed. You all have been such a great help in answering some questions throughout the process!

 

But I wanted to log on and say we were approved!

 

Original NOA1: Feb 5th

New NOA1: Feb 9th

NOA2: August 27th

 

I had an email this morning saying they had taken an action on my case before I even had a chance to look at the website like usual :)

 

We were getting pretty antsy waiting, so I hope some of those early Feb/late Jan filers hear back in the next few days too!

Every night I have a dream where I wake up and check the website and see that we were approved. But then I really wake up and find we haven't. x(

I checked the new website one hour ago and saw that our case was approved.  Screamed out for joy,  broke into tears as I Called my fiancé immediately. 

Apparently it was approved yesterday!

 

This group has been wonderful and I pray everyone gets their NOA2 soon. Fiance(petitioner) didn't get any mail, I was the first to inform her. 

 

Keep the faith guys! Will keep checking here but more focus now on the NOA2 group. 😁

Yesterday we reached Day 200, and I had told my fiance this weekend that I would call up on Monday and see if they have any info for us. Well I called yesterday and he said he didn't have any info for us, but he said they were working on January 29th cases and maybe to call back at the end of the week.

 

I'm not sure if calling did anything to help or if it was completely unrelated that we got approved the next day after calling. Whatever the case, I am so happy that it's finally happening, because my fiancee and I are obviously ready to be back together and start our happily ever after together.

I want to encourage the rest of my fellow Feb. filers to keep the hope up. I tried talking to a Tier 2 on four different occasions (Thur, Fri, Yesterday and then Today). When I was calling I was getting the callback message and of course no call back. Today was different. I called 8am when the office opened and then waited about 10 mins for the Tier 2. 

 

I asked if he had any additional information or even if the case was looked at or touched etc. He stated that "he can only look at the notes and info entered into the system and not the actual file. That being said as of August 27 the file entered the last phase of approval" He then mentioned something about waiting for the notice to be printed. 

 

Our NOA 1 was dated for 02/09/18 . So hopefully a bunch of us will hear something soon.
