Hey guys! My fiancee recieved our silent NOA2 in the mail yesterday. No email, text or update on the site. Its dated 8/22/18. Old site 2/1/18, NOA1 2/7/18. 207 days from recieved date. Im extremely happy cuz i thought this day was never gonna come. For every1 still waiting your day is coming too just keep holding on!!

It seems like we've had so many silent approvals the last few days! I'm only checking the site half heartedly these days, I don't trust it to update for me

It seems way over the 30% normal of the last few months. Dunno if there updates have totally screwed the system up or what. 

This is why I been saying check ur snail mail daily. U just never know...

I used to look forward to checking the site every day around noon my time but now I just can't wait for Jack to get home and check the mail, unfortunately he doesn't get home until 11pm my time/sometimes later so I have alllll day to wait! 😅

I work a really early shift and I get out by 1pm. Snail mail shows up just before I get home. It's normal habit for me to check it on my way home. 

But sadly, it's mainly junk mail. Which is why I won't sign up for informed delivery.

How do you sign up for informed delivery? Of course I check my mail every day (who doesn’t??) but nothing. Feb 16th. Site is the same again today. I am so down this week it’s almost unbearable. I called last week and it was just an automated recording after I put my case number in. How do you talk to an actual person?? So many people seem to have ways of finding out more info on here and I guess I’m just clueless. Would love to speak to an actual person! I put the wrong consulate in Germany on my application (had no idea there were multiple) and I’m convinced that is delaying it. Our application is so simple other that than! Ugh.

Thanks. Didn’t realize that was a USPS thing. Thought it was something else you signed up for through USCIS. At least now I don’t feel so in the dark!

 

i called ‭1 (800) 375-5283‬. Is that the right number? It seemed to me that the only way to talk to a person was if I selected to log an issue with my case (that’s not the right wording, but s

i just texted my fiancé that I think we should just break up and get back together again in mid-September. Of course he will be here in three days so I’m not sure how that would work exactly lol. I’m losing my mind!

Guys, we are approved!! NOA 1 Feb 22..  Yayyyy! This morning the new Website didnt show anything and i just got an email that they took Action on our case and i logged in and it got APPROVED yesterday NOA2 Aug27th

There is a service provided by the USPS (US Postal Service) whereby each morning USPS will scan your incoming mail (just the address side of the envelope) and email you a scan. It's very convenient these days to have advance notice that an important piece of mail is being delivered.  The service is available to most communities but some are still being rolling out so not all areas are available. Check the website with your zip code to verify your location is available for the service.
