So, here's our story...I was in Haiti on a mission trip and he was one of our translators. We were on the bus, taking the kids from our orphanage to the beach and he sat beside me. I was holding one of the little ones and she fell asleep so I was trying to make her comfortable, we made a place for her to sleep across both our laps. I thought he was so sweet but really didn't pay much attention to him. He translated for me several times and at times he seemed to be confused by how fast I was talking so I slowed down for him. After I returned home, we started talking, fell in love, and here we are 2+years later.

Love everyones stories... they all kinda seem like fate.... We met while I was on vacation in Aruba with a friend. We walked into a restaurant where a band was playing. My friend liked one of the singers and after the show we were invited to hang out. He brought the other singer, who i thought had an amazing voice😉, and we went dancing, which I'm terrible at. The 4 of us went for a walk on the beach and the 2 of us separated. Him and I wound up talking all night and din't notice until the sun was rising... It felt like we had known each other for years.... and have been together ever since. Every few months I would go visit him for a week at a time. We have also met up in Cuba which was an amazing experience..... I haven't seen him since the end of April and I am dying for him to come here... see snow for the first time... meet our nephew that he loves via FaceTime... and just be together!!

i was getting a little frustrated since I didn’t hear anything from Uscis, like most of you I was reloading both websites twice a day and double checking my phone for any notification, but Saturday in the mailbox was my approval letter.  So if you feel like you are left behind you can think that maybe the approval letter is on your way.

Hello. I'm a cop in the Memphis area. I filed for my fiance' in South Africa February 14, 2018. We are going out our minds with anticipation. I'm not use to being this anxious and nervous. I haven't heard anything yet so I hope that's a good sign. The processing table states that they're on January 27, 2018 cases. I hope this thing is accurate. We were really banking on the 5 month processing estimate but it looks like we're in for the long haul!!

Hi! Would just like to ask if changing your status on facebook will help to get approved? My fiancé says its a total nonesense (changing status, profile pic pf us together) because he doesnt use facebook that much. Thanks

Guys I am also approved. just checked online again and this time it says case approved. so so so happy

I didn't get any email or text or anything. just been checking/refreshing the new website. I am Feb 13 new site (feb 8 old site)

so i guess they sometime update during the day also and not just early morning. you never know with USCIS

I callled USCIS and they said we were approved YESTERDAY!! The letter wad sent out yesterday!! Im so happy and i hope it is true. The website still says case recived and no text or email. I really hope it is true!!

Woke up 30 minutes ago, and saw an email saying I have  a message from USCIS. I clicked on the link which took me to their ?new? website (the one that requires each time a one time secure password  ) and saw this

Case Was Approved

Now, when I go when I go the ?old? website the case still shows only an update in February. 

 

Well, I am really happy right now. Now I have to wait for Bee to wake up and tell her the great news!
