I received the same thing and we also have the same date, except mine was being touch august 8, but wait, you said your NOA2 is feb. 13? You've been approve already? Anyway if not then my understanding is that they probably still doing our background check. Let's pray we'll get approved soon.

My bad haha meant NOA1. Yes I hope this is good news that they are working on it and we will hear something soon.

If I was referring to anyone in particular then I would've stated or quoted them specifically.

Since I wasn't sure I asked, but thanks for the heads up.

It's easy to get frustrated with others when you are no longer sitting in that stage, so if people sharing their frustration in waiting for their NOA2 is frustrating then you don't have to read or comment on it.

All I am saying is we should try to keep our responses helpful and uplifting

Yes, I wasn't having trouble understanding that the first time you posted it. So far -in my opinion- this has been the case in the February forum. And I do not share your view that it's easy to get frustrated with others when you are no longer sitting at that stage. Not a single comment I have read (in the February forum) has been frustrated with anyone that is still waiting.

I'm not stressing about it, and eben if I (or anybody else for that matter) were: the same applies to that: if you find it frustrating, then you don't have to read or comment on it. If people can vent about being frustrated, other people can vent about being tired of people complaining.

Enjoying this forum and the support it provides. Helps ya realize we all in the same boat. Sending love to all.

Also just question out of curiosity, does anyone if USCIS tends to approve petitions (faster) based on your finacée's country of origin? I was thinking they might take their time with an application if there is more immigration fraud within a country.

NOA1: Feb 22

NOA2: Waitinnnnnnn

Wishing you all POWER, la gringa y su costeño ❤️

Country of beneficiary origin is not suppose to effect it. But, it can be argued that it does effect the process.

All and all it boils down to back ground checks.

I got an update saying that my case was received on august 7th, so i decided to give uscis a call since my case was originally received on feb 17th. The representative said that my case had been transferred to my local office. I asked why it was transferred and she said it was probably to be adjudicated or for further processing. Anyone on the ssame boat? By the way i havent received any notice indicating that my case has been transferred.
