I have my fingers and toes and whatever else will cross crossed for tomorrow cos I'm losing my MIND here 😂🤞!

What do you mean you are losing it? I was 100% sure you had already lost it... HA HA

I am still checking in every day until you are all approved! I am positive it is going to happen soon. Keep your head up and sending you a hug!

Deep breath. Breathe in, breathe out. I know it feels like we've been waiting forever. And 6 months is a long time. But we should remember that they are still working on Feb, doing their first pass through. They haven't even made it to people that filed in the 20's yet. Some of us aren't even to the time that VJ estimated on our timelines. And none of us are outside of processing time yet. Right now each hour can feel agonizing, if we torture ourselves and the only thing we think about and focus on is if the NOA2/RFE has arrived. But doing this is to our detriment - our jobs, our families, our mental health and can take the toll on the relationship with the one we love. Don't let this process take you down, we are stronger than this! Don't forget to live the life you have right now while you are in the middle of waiting for the life you long to have with the one you love.

It made me so sad to read people's posts today and hear such heartache as people struggle waiting. I'm right here with you, NOA1 is Feb 19 on the new site. My expectations are that USCIS will surprise me if they respond in August and I will start to become a pest if they let this go into October. But otherwise, I won't give them the power to dictate how my day will go. I get to enjoy the life that I have right now, Skype calls and weekends away from my love and all. Because soon enough I'll be annoyed with how he squeezes the toothpaste tube and his movie choices. haha. Hang in there all! Hugs!!!

Thank you @Moon&Stars!

I would like to add my 5 cents to this. I know it's easy for me to say this as I am one of the lucky ones that has already been approved - BUT I felt the same way up until the second I found out that I was approved. Not having a certain date, not knowing at all what's going on with your petition is the worst.

Trust me guys, the second you see the "approved" on your screen, this is all gone. My whole body was shaking, my heart was beating out of my chest and I started crying like someone died. I was unbelievably happy. It is the best feeling. Yes, it does feel way better once you have a new timeline to focus on, you can start making plans, checking out flight prices, you can just finally move on.

I had a lot of shitty days before we were approved and I cried plenty, I was about to give up sometimes. But you know what? The memory of how much the waiting sucks, the dread of an RFE, this is all GONE. When the tears slowly creep up your throat, push them down, let them out, whatever you do - this is only temporary and it will be forgotten shortly.

Why would a February 2018 K1 want to make an info pass appointment? They would be much more likely to get a result from waiting a month and making an inquiry to USCIS for being “outside standard processing times”.....

That was in response to an ongoing conversation we were having. It's something for her/him to put in their back pocket for future use if needed.

Sometimes responses can also help others who may find the information important for their situation as much as it is for the person who you are replying to.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

How is someone else complaining affecting you?

Let people vent, be upset, cry whatever they need to do to get by. Just because some people have it worse, does not mean others cannot complain. I know exactly what point you are making but why make it to try and make others feel stupid.

Feb seems a bit quiet. Day 190 here. We are positive though, the more we wait the more money I can save (I won't quit my job until I get a visa in hand). This waiting time sucks a** for sure though.

I love being in this forum because of how positive and helpful everyone is, it just feels like some of the recent responses have been a bit negative and snappy. It's becoming a bit frustrating seeing responses like that to others venting/sharing their feelings.

EVERY SINGLE PERSON going through this process has the right to talk about their feelings because it's their experience. We shouldn't invalidate someone's feelings because "there are people who are worse off"...it's kinda insensitive.

This forum is for us to support eachother and have a space where we can talk about things with others who are going through the same thing, not to be berated or told off for having a crappy day.

If your response isn't necessary, helpful or kind, then maybe you should think twice about what impact it will have on the person you are responding to and to those reading it.

Let's all try to continue being uplifting and helpful, because Lord knows that's what we all need throughout this journey.

Can't agree more!!

I just checked today, still nothing.

Whatever, imma just fly to my fiance for a month and do not think about it anymore. I was thinking to wait with booking the tickets until next week, but honestly its whatever.

The only reason why I wanted to wait for Uscis was because I was being afraid of the Officers seeing me with my dog. But I have visited 3 times since october and never had a problem. Gonna be positive from now on and not let me bring down from the wait. If they approve us and I have the casenumber, i can still fly back earlier to germany in no time.

fingers crossed for everyone else!
