Get the Juarez K1 Embassy instructions at http://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/K1/CDJ%20-%20Ciudad%20Juarez.pdf as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the this website as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for you country so that you are up to speed.

You can start filling it out, doesn't hurt at all. If you have to make changes after you receive the NOA2, make those changes and then print, sign and send it to the beneficiary.

We started filling out every document we had to somewhere in the middle between filing and receiving NOA2. Kills some wait time, makes you feel prepared for the next step and eliminates the stress of "oh my god, what do we have to do now?" when you finally get the NOA2.

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Can I just visit my fiancé in his country in the US while waiting for this noa2? He can't come visit me because of work at the moment, and I have ALL this time , I quit my job in may because my job was depressing anyway. But yes so like, can I just go visit my bae? Will I be approved for a tourist visa or will they say I don't have "strong ties" even though I was born in South Africa and like my whole family and life is here for now? Sigh. Haven't seen my fiancé since last year October. I'm half dead and honestly nearly losing my mind.

ARE YOU SERIOUS ? ❤❤❤ All this time I thought I can't visit because of conflicting visas. .. how can I prove my strong ties to my country if I am unemployed at the moment? Or like that's not an issue at all?

U might have to show u have a reason to return home country. House/apartment payment.

If worse came to worse tell them u have applies for k1 visa and just waiting for approval any day now. With the hopes it convinces them that ur only here for a short period of time.
