Yes you will complete I-134. More links with what is required below.

When you are at the VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Mexico most there will help answer your questions for the processing of your visa using their personal experience.

Link: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/96-mexico-latin-south-america/

Get the Juarez K1 Embassy instructions at http://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/K1/CDJ%20-%20Ciudad%20Juarez.pdf as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the this website as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for you country so that you are up to speed.

Once you get a case number, you can fill out the DS 160 online. Print the confirmation page for this once completed.

Once it says "Ready" that means you email the consulate and request an interview. Include your name, fiancés name, case number and that you're looking to schedule a K1 Fiance Visa interview. I heard they'll email you back within 2 weeks or so but I heard back the same day I sent the email.

When they email you back they'll tell you when your appointment is. Attached will be packet 3. Includes a list of doctors to choose from for the medical , your rights and your appointment letter. At that point - just get your papers together. My fiancé Got his police records in a week. Court records same day. Celabecy letter same day. And birth cert in the same day. Once he had them, he dropped them off to be translated. Picked them up in a week. Already you're at 2 weeks for gathering the fiancés paperwork. On top of that make sure your fiancé sends you their documents (I-134, proof of relationship, taxes, pay stubs, letter from employer, updated letter of intent..) watch a YouTube video of how people put their documents together and Good luck... I asked for help on here from some awesome couples and now that I'm at the finish line, I'm glad I could offer help as well... but if your attitude is you'll just sit and wait well then I don't know because we've rushed quite a few things and God for big a hiccup happens along the way... leave time for the hiccups before the interview

I looked at mine over the weekend. And it finally makes since to me. Received date is feb 2nd which matches old site. Processed date is the 7th which is what the new site says.

Wasnt gunna say anything as I though it confuse people. Was just gunna let it kinda float by like a wave.  But, here i am explaining all cus of u @Moon&Stars. 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

what can I say, can of worms opened. 😎 the scary part is that the difference between the old & new websites now make complete sense. I find understanding USCIS scary 🤣🤣🤣

So I looked at my paper NOA1 this morning and my case status on the new website & they have the SAME DATE! My paper copy says my NOA1 was received Feb 15 and it was processed on Feb 19. The new website says Feb 19 is my date. I see so many people posting all sorts of different dates but for some reason mine match. I know we won't be able to apply logic to USCIS, but as we are apt to over-analyze everything at this stage in the waiting game, I thought I'd toss that nugget out into the VJ universe.

Mine is the same too. Feb 16th hardcopy and new site.

Feb 9th NOA1 here, hoping we get approved tomorrow, or sometime this week at least. 😬   I can't bear seeing all of the mid-February approvals get their NOA2 first.  It makes me too anxious, like what did we do wrong? Probably nothing, but it worries me nonetheless.  Fingers crossed.

Yup, I brought this up a few pages ago when someone asked about the new/old site thing. It's simply just receipt date and notice date. I probably used a bunch more words to say it than that though since I have that tendency. 😄

Yes u probably did and it confused my pea brain🙈🤪

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

You eloquently told them to get their $hit together and stop bugging NVC. I loved it. You did it a lot better then I would have. When I say something the zoo has a tendency to bite back.

We do appreciate you, @Greenbaum!   Thanks for sticking around well past your own immigration journey to help the rest of us. ❤️

The order that they go by initially is first in line gets scanned into the system,  then next case then next case, all getting processed for adjudication. The file then is available to the agent who will process the background checks. While waiting they start on the next one and so on. When a case is back from background checks the agent then will look at the "whole" of your case and make a decision. So yes, a June may be adjudicated prior to a May because of the background checks.

Hi so those that meAn that after background check is clear and good , last step is final decision?? Do you how long after that do they decide and we hear from them?
