That would be correct. But, next week is a new week. Approvals should flood in. Currently 67 of the 362 for feb have been approved. Don't seem like that many have been. It's moving in the right direction tho....

Are those numbers from VJ?

Lets hope for a flood!!

Yes it's vj numbers. No one really can tell what overall approvals are for February.

Only about 10% are on vj. Guesstimate would be roughly 600 total approvals out of 3500 ish

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I have a question about affidavit of support (still waiting but need something to fill my mind while I wait lol). I own a house with my ex-husband. We will sell it when my son graduates from high school in a few years and split the profit. Should I include this as an asset? It’s a bit complicated since I do not make the mortgage payments (my ex lives there, I live elsewhere). I do not need this asset for the income so better to just leave it out? But then it feels like I’m not being honest. Any suggestions?

Only need to prove u can support beneficiary above poverty level. If it's not needed don't include it.

If your supporting documents, 1040, W-2, Employment letter substantiates that you meet or exceed the poverty guidelines for your household size then there is nothing else that is needed. Why do when do will do? :D

Only about 70% of vj ers update their timeline.  70% of 374 is 262.  There are now 68 approvals on vj or 26% which equates to around 8 days for a month like August so they are at 6 months and 8 days is the average on what they are processing now.  If you take rfe and other delays for about 30% of Applicants then the average is way over 7 months.  Just ask the 700 or so january filers still waiting and a few people from before that.  These are my guesses based on the vj data.

Hi guys, congrats for the accepted couples and good luck for these still waiting.

So my fiance got the hard copy of noa2 yesterday. There's an old received date on it and also, the notice date is 10/08- when on the website it says "We approved your case" with a date of August 14th- I don't get that!

Also, what confuses me (and mmmaybe someone smarter could help me understand) is calling the NVC. Is there any sense for us to be doing that if the polish embassy states that you can't schedule an interview without a letter from them? (I'm not in a hurry with the medical and ds-160).

There are two reasons that people are running around to get their case number prior to receiving the letter. First, they want to know if they have had their case number approved because that is a "security blanket" for them that the process is moving forward. It drives most :girlwerewolf2xn:when they call and it isn't assigned. It's like being in a crowd of people and you follow the person in front of you, who is following the person in front of them, because they perceive that person knows where they are going.  The higher your expectations the farther you fall.

Second is that some Embassy's will allow you to schedule your interview and complete your medical just with having the number. And, herein lies the problem. If your Embassy doesn't allow you to start the process without the letter or the case hasn't arrived and set to "ready" at the Embassy then there is no need to be on the phone calling NVC. So you have a case number, what good is it. You can't use it till the Embassy says you can and you would have received in either a email or a paper copy from the postman by the time your record arrived at the Embassy.  I just don't understand the logic in that but people can't get passed it so they call every day. :bonk:

Here is some information on Poland and the process there. Look it over and see what your next steps are.

It's a long process that's for sure. But keep in mind that if you set your expectations high you have further to fall to reality. Set them to be realistic and you fail, your fall is not so far. Stay positive.

There are several tools available to you to find a couple who are at or near where you are from your country. Follow them and when they get theirs you'll be right behind them.

Go up to Immigration Timelines on the blue ribbon above and select it. Once you are on the next page looked to your left and you will see a box that states, "find similar timelines" and select it. A list will populate with those who are processing close to your timeline. When they start to change you will soon be behind them. Also, there is another place you can go and follow others who are processing the same time you are and for the same Embassy. Go to the blue ribbon at the top of this page and select "portals". Scroll down the left-hand side of the page till you get to VJ "your country's name" Timelines. Just below it you'll see "K-1" so you select it and out pops a window with others from your country
