Same here. I am currently extra busting my butt to accumulate even more overtime (=extra cash for the new life). I'll be busy for a few weeks because my fiancé is military and lives in the barracks, so we won't have a place to live until we're married and he's allowed to move out. So I already know who's going to be unpacking ALL boxes and making it our home. After that, I plan on finding a volunteer job asap. Not just to keep me busy, but build my own network and maybe even a job opportunity - I want to be able to not depend on him and his circle as fast as I can.

I have a right to feel discouraged and sad just as much as they do. There is always someone who is going to have it worse than me but that doesn't mean I have to be 100% happy all the time. I know there are people who are still waiting from Nov which really really sucks for them and makes me think something is really  messed up and flawed in this system and process. The fact that I am getting skipped just makes me think that soon I will end up just like them.

None of us will be left behind. I'm currently at day 194 creeping up on day 200. But, it's out of my hands. Worrying about what I have no control over will just make things worse and could potentiomally hinder our relationship. So yes it sucks. But, nothing I can do to change what it is....

We see a lot of people being approved around 185 to 190. Yet, average is still roughly 200 days. Has been for months now. With a dip or raise here and there. 

 

Keep in mind that there is 3624 other cases for just the month of February. Only 362 are on vj. Which means we r only seeing 10% of the total number of filers. 

Roughly 15% have been approved just on vj alone for February.

I'm from the Caribbean (Venezuela) so I'll be suffering a lot, and I'm waiting to buy winter clothes there because I can't imagine the chaos of travel with 3 jackets and boots and scarfs + all my regular stuff 😂😂

I am at Day 180 today! Tomorrow will be exactly 6 months (NOA1 is Feb 16th). My VJ timeline just moved back one day. Was Aug 25 and now says Aug 24 lol. Really hoping that the approval comes tomorrow or Friday or early next week!?! My VERY laid back super positive and optimistic Irish fiancé is now officially losing his mind with anxiety over not getting approved. There’s really nothing to say except just wait. All along he has been so relaxed and now that it’s coming down to the end of waiting he is freaking out lol. It is kind of making me smile  I think since he’s not read anything online he just assumes it means it is bad news. Reading here has been really helpful for me. He is also dreading the EAD time and planning to quickly get a bike and join a gym and practice driving when he can. Also volunteer so he can meet people. And probably hang out in the local pub lol.

It will be cold for u that's goes without saying. But, in a couple years u will be use to it. Just takes time is all..
