I don't think you were supposed to write in 'none' in there instructions state leave blank if none. I saw a RFE on one that they wrote N/A on some lines.

I don't think highly of lawyers..

Same with the middle name and ' --- '

If you read the instructions it'll tell you exactly how to fill out the form.

Hmm I'm really doubting this lawyer now... I imagine they have done a lot of these petitions so they would know what to put, but now I am not sure. Thanks for the advice on that. I will let you know if any RFEs result from this.

k1 is too different for an immigration lawyer. Because it is extremely simple yet complicated (yes I know that sounds weird) and I have a feeling because it is "non-immigrant" in the end they just take cases because it's easy and make money on it, yet almost to nothing..

Portland is on my visit list when I come for vacation in may 😊

Eagerly awaiting our NOA1 this week!

Fingers crossed for you both

This is a very generalizing statement that is not true for a lot of lawyers out there. Many lawyers have a code they have to adhere to or else they will be barred from doing their job (at least here in the Netherlands). Besides, once word gets out that they are lying intentionally to get more work they will be out of business before long.

Hey all,

Just curious if any of you have used a credit card for payment? When I was ready to file, I noticed on the USCIS site, it now allows to pay with credit card, with no additional fees, just have to attach a G-1450. So, I did, and hopefully it'll work out well!

This is something that USCIS just announced on 2/14. I'm not sure if anyone has tried it yet; sounds like you'll be the first!
