Just a heads up for those still waiting... The USCIS website seems to update the cases after midnight (PST) then they send the notification emails/texts between 3am-5am (PST)... So instead of losing your mind checking the site every 10 minutes, just check it in the morning (or after midnight) and if there is nothing give it another day (or call after lunch hours if it's eating you up to know ahead of time, like I did 😂). Good luck to everyone!!

U have ur pst and est mixed up😜😜😜.. they been showing them times but est. which would be midnight to 2am pst.

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Good to see Feb approvals coming through.  Feb 22 new site here, but have a question.  Does anyone know if it takes longer with K2 dependents attached with the K1 on the I129?  I'm just trying to set expectations since my date is coming up soon.  Thanks in advance for your knowledge on the subject.

PST is two hours behind CST, and CST is 1hr behind EST. PST was used as a reference because the office is in California. At the time of the post it is about 10am PST, 12 CST, and 1pm EST... I Got a message at 5:30am CST which would be 3:30 PST, and it showed approved online after 2am CST (midnight PST)... Not trying to get too far off track 😊, just wanted to make that clear

For those who have received NOA2:

Aside from gathering documents like police certificates, vaccination history, affidavit of support supporting evidence, etc, what else is there to do? Is the next step just to wait for instructions in the mail? Thank you!

Fallow the noa 2 forum and you will get a lot of support I fallow one for our country and I know that once the NVC case goes from in transit to ready screen shot it and then you can at that time complete the DS 160 and schedule the interview and once you have your case invoice number the petitioner can request packet 3 to be emailed to them from the embassy and you must include case invoice number along with the attachment of your  screen shot I don’t know how every embassy works but I do know a lot of people in the forum for our country did it that way I really made things go faster also it helps to find out what doctors give the results faster in your country of the list I have seen packet three for our country so we already know what doctor so fallow a forum and you will get an exact idea from your country and the embassy site best of luck and congratulations

For all things dealing with the US Embassy in Canada head on over to the subforum for Canada where they will answer your questions for the processing of your visa from their personal experience. Link:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/93-canada/

Get the Canadian K1 P3 letter at http://photos.state.gov/libraries/canada/303578/montreal/Packet3-K1-MTL.pdf as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the P3 as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview. If it is not on the Embassy letter, it probably is not needed.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for you country so that you are up to speed.

No it doesn't take any longer then just a K-1 with no derivatives. Also, you may not have this information but I will give it to you. Forgive me if I have repeated my self.

Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get down. To smooth that trail for your I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread are processing through another country they would be hard pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Here is the Packet 3 letter.

https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.
