I have never seen the urgency that when the record is ready, the website will update soon there after but yet folks are on the phone calling and calling. That time between when they are finished and the time the update the website is not gong to give you anything to speed up your Embassy and your interview. Most Embassy's don't even let you schedule the interview till you have all your paperwork and it's been returned, then they will allow you to pay your fee and schedule your interview. I know of only one Embassy that you can get your Medical and Interview done in under 25 days. No where else have I seen that kind of hustle on the part of the couple apply. Half the time when someone gets there case number after calling every day 2-3 times if not more don't even know what to do next. They come to VJ and say so that's how I know. So, in the grand scheme of things what god did it do except make your feelings feel better. Jessh.

 

PPL sent your expectations lower and get along in your life. You'll are causing your own angst.

 

Here are some tools that you probably didn't know existed. Here are two. Then you have CEAC website. Now if you do your homework you are going to be real close in guesstimating your approval down to the week.

 

There are several tools available to you. Go up to Immigration Timelines on the blue ribbon above and select it. Once you are on the next page looked to your left and you will see a box that states, "find similar timelines" and select it. A list will populate with those who are processing close to your timeline. When they start to change you will soon be behind them. Also, there is another place you can go and follow others who are processing the same time you are and for the same Embassy. Go to the blue ribbon at the top of this page and select "portals". Scroll down the left-hand side of the page till you get to VJ "your country's name" Timelines. Just below it you'll see "K-1" so you select it and out pops a window with others from your country.

And I have no issue with saying that. Have your own opinion about it, however, there is nothing wrong about anything I said. Those who don't want to call just won't. Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get down. To smooth that trail for your I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

 

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. If u click on ur time line and go to the bottom it states that vj estimates ( not when u should or will ) receive ur noa2. This goes by other member accurate and timely updating there information. 

Uscis currect processing January 12th (I believe) which means if ur noa1 date is on or before said date. Then u May contact them and inquire about ur case.

Wow, so happy that feb officially kicked in! I started to feel a bit anxious as mine hasn’t been approved yet. Hopefully sometime next week... if not the week after...

Mine just keeps getting worse lol. NOA1 is 2/16 and now my timeline says 8/26-8/30. Ugh. Seems everyone else is just about exactly 6 months. And mine says 6.5 months lol. Oh well. I’m just so happy tonight for all those sharing their approvals. I’m hoping for less than two weeks!! Fingers crossed!

Agree w this and the original statement. 

 

People are finding out about their approvals via phone. Uscis has created this dynamic. 

 

Calls are received by a different department. Its not like you are keeping a case worker from approvals.

 

dont be unreasonable dont call everyday but say calling once a week after day 180 is absolutely fine. Don’t believe this nonsense about “slowing the process”......

I woke up this morning to a text  saying action was taken on my case. I logged in to find out they approved our case!

 

February 5th old site, February 9th new site, approved August 10th.  I am so happy

Just a heads up for those still waiting... The USCIS website seems to update the cases after midnight (PST) then they send the notification emails/texts between 3am-5am (PST)... So instead of losing your mind checking the site every 10 minutes, just check it in the morning (or after midnight) and if there is nothing give it another day (or call after lunch hours if it's eating you up to know ahead of time, like I did 😂).
