Sorry for the spam/repost. Noob me was trying to figure out how to edit my original post. I didn't realize we got approved yesterday (the only day I didn't check the website) instead of today LOL

Hi everyone,

Trying to get ahead a little bit on paperwork needed for Mexico Consulate interview.  Does anyone know which affidavit of support they require? I'm finding conflicting information on USCIS website.  Any help or experience with this is appreciated. Thank you!

You should think about joining your VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Mexico most there will help answer your questions for the processing of your visa using their personal experience.

Link: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/96-mexico-latin-south-america/

And your P3 letter is located here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cBWgGJr4a5ay3b4OV28_dC3pgf63ZUr-/view?usp=sharing

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for you country so that you are up to speed.

Sorry to annoy you guys but I really dunno what should I do next after getting the approval huhuhu hope anyone will help me here. Much aporeciated!!!

Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get down. To smooth that trail for your I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread are processing through another country they would be hard pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Here is the Packet 3 letter.

https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.

Listen people, if you feel the urge to call, do so. Do not let anyone discourage you. They are customer service agents and they will happily do their job and assist you as much as they can. Majority of the time, speaking with a tier one agent is enough to get a verdict as tier 2 agents aren't even in California the majority of the time, although they may have deeper access to case details.

This is my opinion. Your Wrong - Your Wrong and Your Wrong. There are so many tools out there on VJ and what USCIS and DOT and NVC provide that you shouldn't have to call. All you are doing is slowing down the system. They have to have customer service agents to talk to _______ ! Be smarter and use the tools that are available.

I have never seen the urgency that when the record is ready, the website will update soon there after but yet folks are on the phone calling and calling. That time between when they are finished and the time the update the website is not gong to give you anything to speed up your Embassy and your interview. Most Embassy's don't even let you schedule the interview till you have all your paperwork and it's been returned, then they will allow you to pay your fee and schedule your interview. I know of only one Embassy that you can get your Medical and Interview done in under 25 days. No where else have I seen that kind of hustle on the part of the couple apply. Half the time when someone gets there case number after calling every day 2-3 times if not more don't even know what to do next. They come to VJ and say so that's how I know. So, in the grand scheme of things what god did it do except make your feelings feel better. Jessh.

PPL sent your expectations lower and get along in your life. You'll are causing your own angst.

Here are some tools that you probably didn't know existed. Here are two. Then you have CEAC website. Now if you do your homework you are going to be real close in guesstimating your approval down to the week.

There are several tools available to you. Go up to Immigration Timelines on the blue ribbon above and select it. Once you are on the next page looked to your left and you will see a box that states, "find similar timelines" and select it. A list will populate with those who are processing close to your timeline. When they start to change you will soon be behind them. Also, there is another place you can go and follow others who are processing the same time you are and for the same Embassy. Go to the blue ribbon at the top of this page and select "portals". Scroll down the left-hand side of the page till you get to VJ "your country's name" Timelines. Just below it you'll see "K-1" so you select it and out pops a window with others from your country.
