Hello everyone!

The tension is rising daily for Feb filers!  *phew*

Am I the only person here not keeping tabs with how many days I am into the NOA2 wait?

If it was a visa interview question, I'd start calculating right in front of the CO.  lol.

I'm Feb 9th (NOA1) by the way. Anyone else?

I have no idea how many days and only think to check the USCIS website when I come here and everyone talks about how often they check lol. We’re just at about six months...that’s all I know. Hoping it’s soon but at this point it feels actually easier than it did a few months ago when it felt years away. My fiancé, who is the one who will be moving, is starting to freak out. He gave notice at work and for his apartment. He is starting to get rid of things. He is getting nervous!

I will be with my fiancée for the interview in Manila, so hopefully when I'm there for 2 weeks we will have the visa in hand. If so, she's coming back with me! 😍😍

If not, I will buy the one way plane ticket within 2 weeks!

I cannot wait to be with her! 😍😍😍

Good luck to all for a speedy approval 😊

Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get down. To smooth that trail for your I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread are processing through another country they would be hard pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Here is the Packet 3 letter.

https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.

Hey guys, I should google this before asking... or research on VJ but I just wanted to doube check regarding I-134 and additional documents. What my SO needs on his side is, I-134, Employment letter, Pay Stubs, Bank Letter, Tax Returns (at least 2 years), and again letter of intended marriage with signature... is that correct?

He hasn't started any, but I'll ask him to start gathering stuff soon. So if I miss anything, please let me know. Thanks!

Here is an advance copy of your P3 instructions for Japan. Just follow the instructions. If they ask for something provide it. If someone on the thread tells you need something else I would research their advice as chances are they are misinformed. Do what do will do.

I keep swinging between being super excited and being anxious. I found packing my belongings emotional, and one of the things I am struggling with is  making new friendships. I know I will, but there's nothing like your best friends from home.

Iv been through that already, I lived in Australia for 5 years but I’m a Tanzanian citizen so I had to come back to Tanzanina. I had to sell of everything I had and pack up what I my Baggage allowance was allowed, had to get rid of a lot of things. It was pretty emotional specially selling of my first car and all my friends and work. Packing belongings are the worst part due to the baggage allowance you can only take so much and I couldn’t ship it over as it was working out to be more and more expensive even if it’s extra 20kgs, and now it’ll be the same when I travel to the US but I don’t have much any more luckily and i’ll Have my fiancée with me this time god willing.

Same here. I have great friends, I'm close to my family, I have a nice appartment and I love my well-paid job and I have health insurance. I'm leaving all that for one person that I will be totally dependant on. It's like getting back out of high school and having to start your adult life over. No car, no job for months, no friends to meet when you feel down, no family to suppport when you need help. Some days I ask myself if I'm out of my mind. Then when I think about how many more months I have to wait until I actually have the visa in hand, I wish I could just have it today and get going.

Packing up my things, selling my stuff and knowing that I'll be leaving with a few boxes and suitcases is going to be tough... Sometimes I get mad at my fiancé because I feel like all he has to do is sit there and wait. No stress, no goodbyes, no complete life changes (other than me being there). I just wish I could put him in my shoes for a week to understand how stressful this is for the beneficiary.

There definitely have been times that I have felt he has had it "easier" and doesn't understand how hard it is. But I also think he has it harder in other ways like missing me at family occasions and the time difference (I think it's easier being the one ahead than the one behind)

Leaving everything behind for the one you love is our choice and we make it willingly, but it is a really big deal!

It's less than a hand full, but more and more end of January ones, I was just hoping that we will see some more February ones starting today or tomorrow.
