Knew I was previously married and didn’t include divorce decree. Knew I had a criminal record and didn’t inform me that info was needed about that and they had marked that area as a no on petition. Which would be instant denial cus information was not correct.

I have my fingers crossed for you

How soon is everyone actually planning on leaving from when they get handed their visa? I’ll be gone within a month x

I will be with my fiancée for the interview in Manila, so hopefully when I'm there for 2 weeks we will have the visa in hand. If so, she's coming back with me! 😍😍

If not, I will buy the one way plane ticket within 2 weeks!

I cannot wait to be with her! 😍😍😍

Good luck to all for a speedy approval 😊

My fiancé wants to visit home for Christmas before coming here. He hasn't been home for Christmas in over a decade (and home any other time in 2-3 years). Because he doesn't know when he can make it back there again, he's planning to go there first before coming to the USA. I totally understand, but it's not my favorite decision as I really can't wait to spend my first Christmas with him & I in the same place!!! I just keep reminding myself that there isn't a guarantee anyways that he could be here by Christmas and I have the rest of my life to spend Christmas with him. But after Christmas, once that visa is in his hand, he's on an airplane!!!

You'll prob get RFE but don't think you'll get denied... relax and try not to overthink :)

I'm planning on getting on over as soon as I possibly can. The day I get my visa in hand I'm handing in my two weeks notice at work and will try to negotiate a shorter end date, and then I'm booking flights and cramming all the essentials in my bags ready to go.

By Christmas has been our dream from the moment we posted our petition, and the best part is that after the NOA2 a lot of stuff is on us so we can hustle and hopefully speed it up a little.

Best of luck to everyone here.

I kinda wanna quit my job right away and travel around with my family... but I won't be able to work for a while once I enter the US so I guess I have to work a bit longer to save some money!

Congrats! Did you signed up to get an email notification that something happend or is that an automatic thing that just happens?

I remember signing up for email notifications on the old site half a year ago when I registered, and (I think) again on the new site when that came out. I can't remember though -- I only remember signing up on the old site. I also think there was a form that I submitted along with the I-129f asking for a text message whenever there is a change in my case status, but I never received any texts.
