USCIS Has Never Updated online since receipt notice

September 2017 filer, AOS through marriage from an F1. We've completed biometrics, received an RFE and also received my combo card (Dec 22 2017). In all this time, my USCIS status online has only updated once; to say that they've received my case. My lawyer says this is normal and not to worry, but it's now Feb and we've had no news of an interview notice, and no sign of one either. We're in SLC, UT, which is usually pretty quick.

Anyone else had this happen? It seems like the case is processing, as we received the EAD/AP card within 90 days. since then, radio silence...

Thanks so much for your help!

I've seen people never get an update.  It took 2-3 months for my case to even show up online!  Don't worry too much about the online tracker if you seem to be cruising along.  It's possible your case is just with the local office which would explain the EAD/AP so fast!

This puts my mind at ease a little, thank you!

Patoga,  Thank you for your insight, it's always helpful to have experiences from the same region! How was your interview? any tips on timeline? We're excited but nervous!

lol our interview was really smooth, the officer was amaizing, it last 15 minutes, no questions of our relationship, we had 5 years married and 1 kid together, and pregnant now. He just request and kept our i94  (i am adjusting status with my 3 kids, 2 of those are stepkids of my hubby ), original birth certificate, our passports, and he kept all expired EAD. Since i am F2A category, my medicals were expired, so he already had 4 RFE for medicals, we tried to have it ready but the dr could not sign it on time so i had to take it 3 days later. My oldest daugther is 14, so, officer said she need fingerprint, at the end, he said that after we deliver the medicals, we have to wait 3 weeks to have our green card, its been pass almost the 2 weeks, and i do not have any updates or any mail, my senator said that they are waiting for my 14 years old name clearence, and i have to wait at least 30 days,,, It is annoying,

my online status for i485 say that they received my case in 2015, so it never change since then. I can say taht you need to be calm and fresh, dont be nervious, the offices was really nice, i didnt wait  lot for being call. If you have any question feel free to write me.

i wil keep updated for my case.

The only thing i can say is that my PD was current in january 2017, and i got schedule for an interview in january 2018 a year later and after contact our senators office because it took sooo much,

If you have your AP you can travek without problem. Good luck!!!!

Yeah, it's crazy!  I heard Denver has one of the longest wait, so I was relieved to receive my combo card rather early.

Haha, yeah it seems around 8 months processing time, so around May -> http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=&cty=Salt+Lake+City+UT&dfilter=5&topic=Adjustment+of+Status

Are you prepared to re-schedule interview if needed?
