Second job is a good idea, or I am pretty sure as long as you have 3 times the shortfall in your bank account you can show a bank statement to cover the shortfall, so you would need 6000 in a bank account, and I think it has to be there for a few months. I know I read this somewhere but like I said, I am very new to the K1 process myself, just applied in December, but This is definitely the place to Search first, then post for an answer to your question. Everyone on this site seems very genuine in their want to help, and I have learned more than an attorney probably  from this site. Search and you should find it. Check out the forums specific to your embassy to see if anyone else had this issue.

Also depending on where your fiancee is located if he has a decent car maybe he can sign up for Uber or Lyft, or some ride share. I drive Uber about 5 days a month and last year cleared just under 7000 actual take home pay. Now, you have to pay taxes on this income if you are in the US, but keep track of millage and your write-offs will cover most if not all the taxes. It has been how I have been paying for all the fees associated with this process, and have fees set aside for AOS, ROC, and naturalization that will be coming in the next few years, but at the minimum I know I have the fees already in the bank. Of course they may go up again, but a small increase is easier to come up with short term.

Get a second job - $2000 a year is less than $200 per month  - very part time job will cover that.

Thank you! Yes that's one of our alternative. But the thing is, he didnt reached the income requirement because he didnt write down the right tips that he's getting everyday last year. So now that he will, we are certain that he will passes the income requirements.

1) USEM rarely asks for the I-134 (but have it and all supporting evidence in case they do!)

2) A W-2 shows what you earned that tax year. An employment letter and pay stubs are generally the primary sources to show current income for a wage earner (albeit not tips and self employment income).

3) USEM COs may accept a co-sponsor....it’s on a case by case basis. Generally, close family members and only having a small income gap would be fine.
