Yes, you right the system needs to be updated. Having said that a few weeks ago a VJ poster shared their experience. She had I-751 and N-400 combined and then later in the day she had a same day oath ceremony. I wonder if that's an exception. How have you been? and If I remember you are waiting for your oath to be scheduled? What does your status say online? regards

With USCIS I guess it’s a hit or miss. Maybe they had extenuating circumstances. And if I can remember I think that ind Visual’s spouse is military which qualifies for expedition. But for the most part with a combo, it’s tough..

ive been good how’re you. Yes I am still waiting on the oath to be scheduled. Egov site shows I751 transferred and N400 in line for oath and USCIS shows I751 approved and notice sent and N400approved and oath letter will be mailed.

Tough waiting times; end is so near yet so far

That was a non-military spouse. I wish if I had remembered that profile. Well, at this point you could get the oath letter any time. I know this waiting game is not fun. This last step should be pretty smooth since all the stressful journey is almost over. I am positive you would hear from them this month, best wishes.

Same here, got the interview notification today, waiting to know the date. This 4th of July just might be extra special.

It's the 10th of July for me, at 9,30 am, so a very early start to the day, seeing as its around 2 and a half hours away.  Hope yours is sooner than mine, seems a long way off, but plenty of time to study for the civics test.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

That's perfect timing. I am pleased to hear that, best wishes.

July 10th it seems so a while to wait, but plenty of practice time and get over my jet lag when I get back. :)

July 10th for me too, at 9.20. But I'm 25 minutes away from the USCIS office, so it's no big deal.

I see, is that friend of yours had a combined interview in Portland OR field office? Looking at the dates of the Portland U.S district court oath ceremonies, you could be slotted in for July-19 otherwise we will take the oath together on August-16 :P

No, she is in Hawaii. I really hope I don't have to wait a month after the interview! That would put me a little too close for comfort to my traveling dates and I'd have to expedite the passport.

I wish that would’ve been the case itll be awesome. However Almost certain you won’t get same day oath. It will go through your interviewing IO review first then supervisor review and if everything looks good then a couple days you will get approval and put in line for oath ceremony. Good luck to us all

Couple days sounds fine, as long as they don't "forget" about me, like in the case of AOS. I made an infopass and magically, they remembered to approve my petition and issue my card, so I canceled the infopass.

Yes, I am praying for you, that you are done sooner than later :) Did you buy the ticket already? how much time do you have before you travel? Looking at your case I believe you would be good to go because your interview is on July-10.

Sorry it's been a few days, but I did speak with a Level 2 Officer on the phone, who informed me that my I-751 was combined with my N400 at the NBC, and will be adjudicated together, just as Sukie said. So my I-751 is still pending, and not approved (yet) despite being told I was at my appointment.

I'm hoping the "Approved I751" written in my passport with the stamp does not cause problems when I return in August. The other bad thing, is it is only a 6 month stamp, instead of a 12 month stamp (expiring 11/29/18)-- so I'll have to go back and get another stamp if I go to Canada for Christmas.

I don't know where that officer got her information from, but as my feelings towards the Dallas Field Office, I am not impressed.

Maybe I should move an hour north to Oklahoma, and OKC will have processed my case by now :P

For all you New Yorkers, there is a guy in my building and he applied last July. He had to do some extra paperwork but he had his biometrics in December 2017.  He is still waiting for his interview 6 months later.  He also told me about someone else who had their interview and was waiting over 6 months for the naturalization ceremony.

I live in Washington DC for 3yr and I applied N400 last Feb 22 but we moved in Maryland  last April 30. I am not sure but I read somewhere that I should live in the same state for 90 days after I applied or am I missing something?? Should I update my address now?? are they going to deny my application because I moved??

You have to call them immediately to report it before they schedule your interview so they can transfer your case to your current local field office otherwise you will have to re-apply.
