That's alright. They found the ignore user button and I am sure are much happier now. There's really no need to continue this further.

I just got back from bio metrics today and I had two emails from USCIS. One which sounded likethey were going to send a bio metrics letter, so I logged in and saw my case had 2 months knocked of the date. Then an hour or later I received another email from them, saying that USCIS had updated my account. I logged in and nothing. I looked at the old log in on their website and it said they were reviewing my case or something, however the n400 update said we sent you a bio metrics on the 3rd of March. Talk about confusing. I am not thinking it is an interview letter, as the people that have already received those dates are people who have had more than 3 years on their conditional card or more than 5 years. I wont be eligible for an interview until after May 26th and I read on VJ they normally send your interview or schedule one a month before the 3 years or 5 years on your conditional status. So Im thinking that the email came after they changed my date or perhaps they are going to put me inline?

Are you per chance signed up for email alerts at both https://my.uscis.gov ("new" site, the one where you can file the N-400, I-90, etc.) and https://egov.uscis.gov ("old" case status site that allowed you to create an account and add a receipt number to track)? They send separate email alerts triggered by the same status change. The first site takes an extra day or so to to update than the second one.

The ECD change after biometrics is pretty typical based on the reports here. It doesn't look like Columbus folks in January and December have interview dates yet.

I noticed yesterday exactly a month from my biometrics my status message on ELIS old site started showing Interview scheduled but it didn't show this on Wednesday, however my EGOV and MYUSCIS just shows Active review and Biometrics reviewed. Any truth to this update on the ELIS Old site? any experiences?

Yes I am and I got another email today, so that is 3.  Funnily enough after another email this morning I logged on it says biometrics are being review, whereas the other case says my case was under active review. However, when I log into my N400 account at the top its changed from 6 months to 7 months, it was 8 months last week and 6 months 2 weeks ago.  Any way one says 7 months to completion and the one under the biometrics reviewed says 6 months and I am going to dizzy wondering why they are trying to confuse before I have had my breakfast! :(

It was just generated from your biometrics. This morning your DHS site will probably say 'We reviewed your biometrics' and the egov one will say 'We're actively reviewing your case ...not.

These dates seem to be all over the place for most folks. Mine moved again this morning, increasing by 2 months, while I've had my interview scheduled since 3/13. Reading through the older N400 filer threads, you will find cases where people have gotten oath ceremony dates and still had an ECD months later. I know it's hard not to look at them, but right now it seems that they really are not a good indicator of how quickly your case will progress. A better option is to mine the timeline tables in older status threads for mentions of your field office, that way you can get some idea how long, on average, people go between their biometrics and their interview. Right now, it looks like if you're lucky to be under the jurisdiction of a less busy office, early-to-mid-March biometrics are getting scheduled for later April and early May interviews. However, this won't be true for busier offices. There are individual exceptions such as problems revealed by the background check too, of course.

Edit: didn't look at your prior messages, you probably already know all of this :)

Here is my 5 cents regarding email notifications from old and new websites.

Mar 21, 2018, 2 PM - received email form the old website saying USCIS has taken action. When I log in on old website, it says interview was scheduled. No updates on new website.

Mar 22, 2018, 5 AM - received email from the new website. Now I can see status updated (interview scheduled) on both old and new websites.

I saw the actual letter on Mar 22, evening, on the new website with interview date.

Has everyone seen this new way to depress yourselves ?

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/#mainContent

It's a new USCIS tool to estimate your processing time, put in the form you're applying for and the field-office processing your claim and you get an estimated completion time. N400's in Chicago are currently estimated at 11½ to 15 months

It's better compare to estimated time on My USCIS, at least for me.

Yikes! I'm still waiting for ROC, and it's telling me 17.5 to 19 months for that. I'm barely past 12 months. Here's hope they do a 2-in-1 interview and it's faster than predicted.

The next update you get (which is often heralded with multiple emails/messages) is "We reviewed your biometrics" No documents, and probably no interview appt yet. They're supposed to use your biometrics to run all the background checks before they schedule your interview. You never know though! Good luck!

I did get something about them reviewing biometrics and the other site said we are actively reviewing you application.  I just dont understand why at the top of the page it says estimated completion date 7 months, was 6 months the day before and down below it says estimated time 6 months, two dates?

I dont expect any news until  a month before the 3rd anniversary of my conditional card. It seems that they like to/or use to send you an interview a month before the 3rd anniversary of your GC, if through marriage and 5 years if not through marriage.  I have noticed on our thread (Feb) the ones who receive interviews are the ones past these dates.
