I know your I-751 is approved, Sukie. I was so excited when you got your I-751 approved!

I think I mis-spoke (typed).  My question is: between leaving the biometrics appointment and receiving the 'We reviewed your biometrics', did you get an email/notification saying that USCIS were 'actively reviewing your case'?

Thanks!

I got an email at 6 a.m. with the following text:

We have taken an action on your case

I went to the online site, and saw that our Expected Completion date had gone from November 2018 to September 2018.  Then it changed to "We reviewed your biometrics." and the Expected Completion date went to October 2018.

Hi Everyone! an urgent question. I am filling out my last 5 years residence in the ONLINE form.  From 2014 till present is one address BUT for 2.5months (in 2017), I lived in my home country when I got married last year. I want to add that 2.5months residence duration with my husband, as this will also be helpful for our immigration I130. When I was adding that residence online(7/2017 till 9/2017), It is saying I CANNOT HAVE OVERLAPPING DATE RANGES IN MY RESIDENCE HISTORY.
Have anyone submitted with some months overlapping range and was it accepted?
Any help would be appreciated.

We’re you there on vacation? If you’re a legal permanent resident Of the United States you shouldn’t include that in your residency. You include that on your time outside of the US part.

I was on a vacation. But, I am confused a bit now. I mentioned that address as my residence in past 5 years in form I130 too.

Also, few months (in 2014) I was shadowing a doctor here in USA to gain experience in my field. Can you tell where should I place it under? I was not emplyed , I was doing like a observership/shadowing.

What should I select while adding my SCHOOL AND EMPLOYMENT HISTORY.

Thank you for your response

Employment means you received compensation for a task competled. Of all you did was intern, I would place that under education since you were not compensated. Be ready to explain during your interview. It’s not a big deal but you don’t want to misrepresent.

Yes, this is a good point. I can add that under school. And I can show them Internship letter at Interview . Definitely, never a misrepresentation, but a correct way to add up our information.

Really appreciate your timely responses. Thank you!

Thanks!

I think you're looking at the difference between the two reporting tools that USCIS offers, the status details available in your USCIS account (where you filed and paid if you did that online), and the Case Status Online (where you enter the receipt number to see the status). Here's my  situation, I'm a "pure" N400 filer:

I did my biometrics on 3/8, and the Case Status Online tool started showing 'USCIS is actively reviewing your case' minutes later. On 3/13, the Account page started showing 'we reviewed your biometrics', and minutes later the Case Status Online tool started showing 'We have scheduled you for an interview'. on 3/14, the Account page also started showing the interview.

Hope this helps.

That’s a good point! I’m a jan filler and my field office is Hartford.. they are really slow.. got my date changed though. Went from 11 months to 9 months so let’s see.

@AmusingCamera  Please let us know when you have your interview scheduled since you are a Jan filler. Do you guys @CTgal18 and @AmusingCamerahave an idea in how long it will take for CT fillers have the interview? I couldn't find them on the prior threads. I'd like to plan my vacation for this year, I use to travel on July/August but I have a feeling that those months would be the interview.:o

I’ve been searching trying to find that very answer but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of Hartford filers that report on sites like these how long the process took them. I only see a few from 2017 on trackitt and it seemed to take around 6 months to get an interview letter. It took a coworker of mine 6 months from start to finish but that was a couple years ago. Don’t know if online filing speeds it up like it does in some other offices because I haven’t found the timeline of anyone filing online in Hartford.

I couldn't find either. It used to be 3-6 months but that was before Trump lol

I have a close friend who applied on the very last day of December 2017, lets see how they will proceed with her case, It will give us an idea. I'll keep you posted.

No interview yet, but my account says case completion should be 9 months. I think we should hear something end of March or sometime in april.
