Hello!

Im so happy to find this forum, my first time posting. I filed mine in the Atlanta field office and after my biometrics appointment I got a message about 2 weeks later saying they transferred my case to another field office and haven’t heard anything since. I’m afraid my case is lost bcecaeie I haven’t gotten any new documents online or in the mail as to why it was transferred or to where? Has anyone else had their case transferred? The plus side is my timeline estimate has been shortened, but everything else is a mystery.

Hi

I’m a March N400 filer in Los Angeles.  I think we are in the similar/same situation.

I filed mine on March 6, had biometric done on March 28, then my case was transferred to “another field office for review”on April 26. It says “view your letter on the document tab for an explanation” for the reason of the transfer, however the document tab has never been updated since then.  I sent a request to hear an explanation on May 19, and immediately received automated email that says “expect a reply by June 10.”  There’s no reply so far.

Hope our files are at NBC waiting to be reviewed. SOON.

Yes! That’s exactly how mine happened. I also did the request but can’t remember what date it said to look for a reply :/ fingers crossed for both of us!

So just so you know: you’re not alone. One of my cousins still waiting for oath. She had her interview  mid June . And the other cousin got her oath 15 days after interview.. so strange.

Thanks for letting me know!

Well, mine says February 2019, and our interview is in 3 weeks.  So I don't believe those dates at all!!!!

Good luck - and congrats on the house.  That's a great bit of news!

Yes, I see that a lot of people seem to be getting interviews before the dates on the website, and I hope I'm one of them. Not holding my breath though - the Tucson office seems to be pretty busy!

Is your timeline updated?

Can some of you chime in on my tentative list of documents I plan to take with me to the combo interview tomorrow? It's pretty light but I"m not expecting to be grilled on the ROC part of it. Am I missing anything important?

  1. Interview notice

  2. Green Card +  EAD/AP Combo card

  3. Passport

  4. Marriage certificate

  5. Daniel naturalization certificate + passport

  6. Extension letter

  7. IRS Transcripts for all years we were married (2014,2015,2016,2017)

  8. Latest bank statement + Letter from bank/checking accnt summary?

  9. Latest payslips for both Paula + Daniel

  10. Travel itinerary for September showing both traveling to Romania (maybe boarding passes/itineraries from 2017 if I can find them?)

  11. A few photos

  12. N400 snapshot (+ ROC application copy just in case?)

Looks good to me but what about joint bills or insurance together?

I sent a ton of stuff in the ROC file and I'm so over it! I might add the auto insurance. We're staying with my in-laws and all bills are in their name, but our case is super straight-forward and like I said, I don't expect a lot of focus on the Roc side of things.

That makes a lot of sense and I absolutely believe you won't have any issue. Keep us posted :) I am looking forward to hearing your interview experience because we have a similar case due to the pending I-751.

If any of you had previous marriages, bring info with you (like divorce records).

Our interview was scheduled! Just got the email notice today and the USCIS.gov website updated but not yet for the my.uscis.gov Online account. We don't have a date yet. We have a pending i-751 as well, so we are very excited by this update. Our i-751 got transferred on May 3 to NBC.
