Hi, guys I’m really worried and scared at the same time. My husband is in El salvador ready for his interview on the 7th of february. He did medical exam on the 31st and doctore send him to a pscychologist because he told doctors he smoked marijuana three years ago only 3 times. He drinks alcohol yeah, but who doesn’t . He had urine and blood work done twice which I don’t know why. Paid double for doctors and pschygologist. Will all this affect his immigrant visa. He is such a hard worker and I really need him here. My son and I barely sleep. I especially his wife can barely eat and sleep just thinking something will go wrong. Could someone tell me will that affect him or are they just running test to see if he is clean of any drug use?

The statement "he drinks alcohol but who doesn't" may be more of an issue than what was glossed over.  There's a different between having a glass of wine and drinking from Friday night till Sunday morning. If he had a casual attitude about getting drunk every weekend, it may be more of the problem than marijuana.

It's hard to say what effect this will have.  Some people have faced 1 year bans, treatment, and periodic testing.  Others have not been banned.  Good luck.

Thanks I pray to god my family will not be separated. I already suffer from depression and high blood pressure which I am on meds for it.

Assuming it's not an alcohol issue, having done a second test is probably more of a good sign.  They would have done the denial the first time around if they were going to do that.
