Good evening everyone!

I have a problem that has roots waaaaaaaaaaaay back to November. We moved out from state and I updated my new address with USCIS. At this time I was waiting for card to be ready and sent to me. I was excited to see it was mailed but it's been a month and nothing arrived.

It turned out, they sent it to my old address and for obvious reasons it returned undeliverable.

I've left two service requests and none of them were assigned for processing. In addition to those requests I had infopass appointment two times and now I filed a third service request to redeliver my card but I have not hear anything about my problem.

How can I make these people to do anything? They pretty much ignoring my inquiries and I'm sure, when my current service request will expire (Feb,16th)  I will hear nothing.

I didn’t think that was possible...? The EAD contains a fingerprint obtained via the biometrics appointment.

Yes. I had it approved first and then received an appointment for biometrics. Filed everything on July 25th 2017

Possible. They approved me first. Then mailed me biometrics appointment. After my visit they started printing EAD card

Ah, I misunderstood. The application was approved but they still couldn’t produce the card until the biometrics was completed. Yes, the application approval can be beforehand as you experienced.

The card is already produced. But it was mailed on my old address. Now, when I moved and updated my address, it's still ready for mailing but  no one cares to read my service requests to resend it.

I thought doing biometrics is to check an applicant's criminal background with FBI and etc.

If one's EAD is approved, and then is found of something from FBI's record, then would USCIS revoke the approval notice?

(Unless the FBI background has nothing to do with the approval of EAD?)

I think you could try ombudsman's office. Just google USCIS ombudsman. It is an electronic form, very easy to file, free of charge.

Not saying that it will work, but since you have exhausted many options, might as well give it a try.

When I received biometrics letter it was saying it's for 765 and 485. They were waiting until I give them fingerprints to proceed

That is one purpose. It’s also used as part of the security on the EAD and/or AP as well.

I’m assuming if they found an ineligibility later then they would deny the I-485, which revokes the EAD and/or AP automatically.

Well there's no reason for me to deny it. In field office they were calling to NBC to find out what is wrong. Apparently my request was assigned to processing but instead of regular 2-3 weeks it takes almost the whole 3 months
