You're very welcome! I myself received so much good advice on this amazing forum, that I owe the others, who are still in the midst of the process, anything I can help with.

Good luck with scheduling your interview. I hope you will get it soon.

I just filled out a new DS-160. I put her first name under given name and her last name under surname. I put her patronymic name only under the part where it asks for full name in native alphabet. The I-129F has a field that asks for middle name, which I did indeed, put her patronymic as her middle name. But, for the DS-160, I took everybody's advice and went only with her first and last name. I appreciate your help and everybody else who helped me, too! ^_^

Question, again! LOL. On the US travel docs website, I am still waiting for an interview spot to show up. However. I was just wondering, what did you put for "priority date"? There is a question like that on the US travel docs website!

I had to log into my ustraveldocs account in order to answer your question because I completely forgot about priority date. I put there our NOA-1 date for I-129F.

K1 is so called dual intentions visa. As PP mentioned, take it as  immigrnat visa for interview scheduling purposes.

It doesn't really matter which address is on your letter of intent to marry. We personally put the IV unit as addressee on the letter I brought to the interview.

It is correct, you do not have to translate any of the documents into English if they are in Russian. Only documents that are not in Russian (f.e. birth cerdificates or divorce decrees issued in former Soviet republics in their official language) must be traslated into English.

I select "Immigrant Visa", just like this, right?

@visaquestions Yes, you should select Immigrant visa.

You know how on the DS-160, it says: ""Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application (DS-160)"? Isn't it so crazy how confusing that is for people? LOL! It says Nonimmigrant Visa on the DS-160 but to schedule your interview, you select Immigrant Visa!

Thank goodness for this website and helpful people such as yourself! ^_^

Frankly, I don't believe it makes any difference, either way would work.

Btw, what is the waiting time to get an interview date in Moscow now? A year ago, I was able to schedule my interview within a week. I guess, it's much longer now?

Man, it seems like every time I check, there is never an interview spot available! I am supposed to schedule it myself, right? The embassy doesn't set the date, from what I know?

Hey guys! Please help me with my question cuz I'm so confused... On the website it says you can pay a visa fee using your credit card, so does it have to be a real credit card or I can use my debit card? Thanks in advance!
