I won’t say children aren’t a tie, but they very likely are not sufficient enough by themselves as proof that she will return home. But the only thing she can do is apply and find out. Good luck.

Not sure if it will work or how it will look, but she does not claim the money was earned by her. It is her daughter who is nice to her and wanted pay for her trip to see how America is like. She does not pretend that she earned the money. Rather, she should state the fact, her daughter is paying for her trip.

No need to transfer money to do that.

My mama don't have work. They are regular farmers that can sustain only specific needs for the family. My sister's are in schools too...if they can, I will let them come during vacation days but i guess its impossible for me to let them come and visit right?

Putting large sums of money into their account will not work. If anything it will raise a red flag.

Think about it. A poor farmer that has no ties to their home country has a daughter with the capability to send large quantity of money to then so they can travel to the US. That means she has US connection that is capable of taking care of her if she decides to stay in the US. The tie is stronger to the person in the US who can afford to provide a better lifestyle for the poor family.

@Eba2 you have to understand that it is nothing against your parents. But the reason it is difficult for people who have no ties to their home country to get a visitor visa to the US is because there have been to many in the past that used the visitor visa to come over and live. They went to the interview with the she sorry that they "simply want to visit their relative and to see the US" but I've they get here they never go back. Or they come over a few times then eventually never return. The realization is that people who don't have strong ties are considered a higher risk, especially if they have a relative in the US.

Best thing for them to do is simply apply and find out.

But my mother don't have work in the Philippines and have no big reason or ties at home...

Please help me!:(

Not sure what kind of help you expect here. I'm sorry to sound harsh, but they won't get their tourist visas. They're not tourists. They have no money and no ties to their home country. They are from Philippines where it's hard to get a visa even with money and ties. And they want their visas? Not going to happen.

Especially in Philippines, children are not considered strong ties, just look at how many get left with a relative or grand parents when Philippines Citizen go abroad to work

If you have money in Philippines, and there are some very wealthy people living there, they usually have no issue getting a tourist visa due to being able to show strong ties with land and property and cash in bank.

Thanks for your advice...

It seems like it's gonna be hard for me to let my mama visit here. Is it because I'm not a US Citizen yet....what"s  the difference it can make if ill become a us citizen and have work?....does it still require a good strong ties for my mother to come back to Philippines even if she's just visiting?

Even if you were a US citizen, getting a tourist visa from Phil is very hard regardless.

Instead of sending her & your sisters money why won’t you save that & come to the Philippines by yourself ? You are able to freely travel, so just go there. It’s less stressful for both parties.

I agree with everyone here. If they don’t have ties then it’s a wrap. USA want to welcome tourists with money so they can spend it here in their economy & wish them to return to their home country when they’re done. 3 months is too long of a vacation for a farmer in a red flag country. As hard as it sounds & if you follow the news it’s going to get even harder. Just make sure you have enough money so you can go there & visit & maybe help your parents out.
