While I-130 pending

Hi

 

My parents filed i-130 in 2012 when I was over 21.

 

I first came to the state in 2006 as student, F-1 and I-20 from a school.

 

I'm still I-130 pending and recently my I-20 expired. 

 

What's my status and what will be the best option?

you should have left before it expired, you should leave the country to go through consular processing

you have 60 days from when you I-20 expired to leave the US as you are no longer considered to be here legally, if you fail to do so the pending I-130 will not matter from what I understand if you continue to stay you are looking at a 3-10 year ban,.
