You don't need it for the I-29F packet. You only need the beneficiaries police certificate at the time of the interview. Have you been arrested?

I just received an RFE for a certified copy of a final disposition of a minor incident that occurred in 1992, and I am the petitioner.  So, the OP Will need this information, and if you go the court where the crime occurred, they should be able to provide this for you.  Make sure it is certified and a FINAL disposition on any cases that happened.

Go in person to your local police station and ask. If they can't do it for you, they'll tell you where you can get it. Having it certified means that it has their seal on it (like in Canada, it was a raised paper punch and an ink stamp).
